No, I will stand by what I said Chuckles.

A name change in that degree will not make me majorly upset. Would I want the change? No. Would I go mad over it? Probably not but I don't really know until it happens. I know Tan will change us to Cardiff Dragons FC and that he will try and force it through next summer.

My point was, I don't want change and I wouldn't want a name change, but I would accept it to that degree if that is what happened. I would never accept a nickname or corporate brand into the name at all. NO RED BULL, NO BERJAYA, NO DRAGONS.

A name change to Cardiff FC would still be Cardiff City FC to me in my mind and I would just put up with it and still sing Cardiff City FC. Accepting doesn't mean you like it. I accept there are murderers in the world doesn't mean that I like the fact there are murderers in the world.

I WOULD LIKE TO REITERATE A NAME CHANGE IS NOT SOMETHING I OR THE GROUP STANDS FOR.

We stand for as pointed out on the home page;

1. A change of badge for the 2014/2015 season featuring more of our traditional makeup
2. A hopeful return to blue at home
3. Better communication with the club in a professional manner

Hope this clarifies the situation. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

No objection to a name change? You've just ended your group with one statement.

A name change to Cardiff FC will never happen so I'd have nothing to object. Also, I don't really know do I given that I didn't know how much Hull City Tigers would annoy me but seeing it there it did and I don't even support them. To be honest Chuckles until you see it there in front of you it don't hit home. I am vehemently against the idea of of a nickname or corporation added to the name but Im unsure on that.

----

Also, I haven't ended my group as we have the members we need to think of ideas and engage in dialogue with the club. As pointed out numerous times we do not wish to get loads and loads of members as that just makes it harder to moderate and we go down the Bluebirds Unite path. The members of the group share the same viewpoint as me on the issues we want to address as highlighted above. (badge, kit colour)

Just because you disagree with me it doesn't mean that others do and we are all entitled to our opinion as fans of Cardiff City FC.

Would I want the change? No.

I would not object it straight away as the group has other issues at hand that it wants to address and get resolved and only by attacking this piece by piece does anyone stand any chance of making change for the better.

Surely a group to restore tradition would be against any name change... :laughing6: as its the traditional name of the club.

Has the name change happened Chuckles? No. You are basing your argument solely on a hypothetical situation that will never occur.

We want to restore what we've already lost. Each step at a time. A name change will never happen if we can show Tan we are willing to fight for what we've already lost in the right way.

Re: New Group To Restore Tradition - The Ninian Stand

It will never happen? You've said you think it will before. :laughing5: make your mind up.

You've stated that you wouldn't be against a name change of certain parameters... Surely then, you cannot create a group "to restore tradition" if you aren't against the stopping of tradition by way of the club name?

Re: New Group To Restore Tradition - The Ninian Stand

Oh well i'm quitting the forum and sticking with it and doing what I believe is right.

People claim they want a traditionalist badge with the bluebird better represented than just being shoved on the bottom in a disrespectful manner. People claim they want a blue home kit back but whenever someone tries they belittle it no matter what.

Sian has done loads with Bluebirds Unite but little bastards have ruined her groups image and therefore now people don't want to join it.

An alternative has been set up and people still attack it because someone else is making an effort. People even using hypothetical scenarios that haven't taken place yet to try and attack someone.

Quite obvious a lot of our fans are happy to be red as they like to belittle anyone making a stand.

I wonder if they'll accepted Cardiff City Dragons FC as quickly because its happening and was well on the cards before Hull City's owner made the changes up there.

You can restore tradition and support progression (i.e. moving from Ninian) yes but I would not want the name change. Do you want the rebrand? No. Do you put up with it? Yes. If someone else wanted to object then fair enough. Thats my attitude to a name change to Cardiff FC if it happened.

I find your acceptance at moving from Ninian Park wrong. You say its for progression and was needed but to me it was Cardiff City FC's traditional place of worship and our home.

A name change to Cardiff FC, Chuckles. Tan wants to change the name to Cardiff City Dragons FC and you won't even put up a fight then as you've done nothing in regards to the rebrand other than whinge on here 24/7.

Haven't I? What about the promotion of a petition with well over 1k signatures? What about the formation of a group & chairing of 2 public meeting for the group?

Stop spouting shit. You claim to stop childish insults, then go and do exactly that.

No you haven't at all. You claimed before you were nothing to do with Bluebirds Unite so what's the story now Barry? Its not childish insults. As far as im concerned you've done nothing other than whinge about the rebrand on here and tell other people what to do.

Re: New Group To Restore Tradition - The Ninian Stand

Tue Aug 20, 2013 11:40 am

RE: Your pathetic signature..

I formed the BlueForlife Group which held public meetings, I wrote a petition regarding the change of shirts. I wrote a letter for people to use to send to Tan regarding the rebrand. I spoke on BBC Radio Wales by the invitation of Jason Muhammed regarding the rebrand.

The group may have failed, but I acted on what I believed in.

Of course, you wouldn't know this as you don't attend games and change your colours more than a chameleon.

I've acted on what I believe in, you don't even know yourself what you believe in.

My true colours? Im standing up for what I think is right whether you agree or not and im allowed to do so.

You cant accept other peoples opinions and thats a fault of your own. I'll make my stand in my own way and all I hope is that we don't end up as Cardiff City Dragons FC as Tan intends because then changing back will be a lot harder.

I had no idea you set up that group and have never heard of it. Only heard of KCB and Bluebirds Unite. I apologise for assuming it was one of them you were involved with. :ayatollah:

You claim I don't go to games which Annis has proven you wrong in this thread. I go to games as i get my tickets off a player. Again proving you will do anything to have a cheap shot at people. Craig was right about you.
