When he was at Wimbledon, Hammam was not dealing at the higher levels in the transfer market. He was dealing with a close-knit club that were NOT famous for spending big or attracting big players ever.

Sam is a 'Life President' apparently.

They are found allover the world in all sorts of clubs and organisations - usually very old people who have absolutely no say in affairs but given a title well deserved. I think you would agree with me that Sam is owed nothing by the club and has earned nothing. So the title is to shut him up because one thing he wa salways known for was an ego - he has had it smoothed.

Sam is not 'here' its a token gesture for a man who tried to ruin this club - or would you deny the high court situation.
Sam would have seen this club dead and buried if it was not for the judgement of a wise high court judge. Would you deny that?

Sams role at Wimbledon has everything to do with his position in football - he is not trusted and it started there and ended here. When i say ended, i mean it because he is nothing to this club, nothing at all.

I could go into high finance but i suspect it would be over your head. I will give you a clue though - A company director is not allowed to borrow money to another company he is a director at because the interest rate will favour one company over the other and thats against the law.

Ive no doubt Sam started a big ball rolling here and would not deny it, but when things went South he tried to destroy our club....when we kick off on Saturday remember its in spite of Hammam not because of him.

Your right there's probably more to this deal and where all wondering what deal has tan struck with Sam.

We know about the cash part of the deal but the rest is a bit murky.

It'll all become clearer as the season progresses.

Sam has not Wiped Off All The Debt, he has gone into meetings knowing he was owed £32m
but also fully aware that if he was found to be the Boss at Langston then he could be guilty
of a serious breach of Company Law = possible jail term. He'd have still got the money I think
but with a spell at her Majestys Pleasure and a huge fine perhaps? Not worth it.

Tans strategy was probably something like Take £15m or we'll see you in court. That would not
have been good for Tan because it would have totally fucked up his plans for Cardiff City AND
he might have ended up paying Langston more. But it could have had far more serious repercussions
for Sam. So they met in the middle. You have been sold a bum steer by Sams pals saying the Forensic
Accountants found nothing. Have a think about that. The High Court Judge was convinced that in a
Full Court Case, Sam would have been exposed, so there was obviously SOMETHING there. Again, they
listen to Sam too much and common sense and reason goes out the window. Tan held most of the
cards, but not all of them. His weakness was that he needed Langston gone, Sam knew that and he
managed to get a few more million out of the deal. But again, he was never ever going to risk going
to the High Court again. The Life Presidency is a face saver, if Tan really
wanted Sams advice on ANYTHING he'd have given him perhaps £10m and a seat on the board? Instead
Sam has a token face on the board with no power, no say. Pointless him being there really. But again
it gives the impression that Sam has got a foot in the door, he really hasnt. Within months of the money
exchanging hands, Sams man will be gone, and you'll never see Hammam down the City again. Hes not
wanted, and he knows it. This bit about him and Tan being 'buddies' is just politics. Not having a go at
