Hundreds? That is still a very small minority as thousands would stand by VT. None of us like playing in red,
but there was a deal
that we rebranded and in exchange VT would invest £100m into CCFC and make the club debt free.

So basically you are saying we should take the cash and then dump all over VT and insist on having the blue back now. People like that are dishonourable and are frankly spoilt bastards who don't like not getting their own way.

Grow up become an adult and understand that life operates on honouring deals and contracts. I for one have NO intention on going back on the deal struck with VT although I will wait patiently for an honourable solution in the future where a possible mutually acceptable time will emerge for a return to blue.

You talk about a deal? What deal? I don't remember VT asking Cardiff fans to sign a deal? Only a select few allowed to vote on shorts

Dont start about the shorts he hasnt even stuck to his word on the winning colour on them.

Racist, I don't think so mate. It is Vincent Tan that said that he had to deal with 100% democracy in the UK and all the rights it gives us fans.

As for discriminatory. The work ethic and commitment to their jobs is unprecedented.

At most I was being stereotypical.

Totally agree with trying to get the blue back, but disagree with being disrespectful to tan the chap has transformed the club behind the scenes and taken us again to another level.

Keep the blue pressure on him, sing pro blue songs but most importantly

Can I say I'm not against bluebirds unite I think they are at the moment doing a good job , I just believe this march is badly timed . Yes it will make huge exposure for them but it will also piss off the guy who ha saved this club from everything bad of the past decade . He deserves a bit more respect than being embarrassed on live tv in front of the world . A celebration or demonstration it doesn't matter it will still look like a group opposing tan himself IMO . Why not save it for a different day we should all be together celebrating our return to the top flight not separated with a march . That day is a day for every city fan to savour not to be marred by the rebrand .

Well, he will know how the fans felt when he rebranded us then.

For me you get respect, when you give it. He couldn't respect the club enough to keep us in our rightful colours.

This march is starting to worry me , if tan sees Cardiff city ( his buisness ) live on tv in our first ever premier league home game which is being beamed around the world , being overshadowed in the buildup by a protest march against him , I've got a bad feeling he may well push him to far . This march could make bigger problems than people realise . He has allready hinted IMO during a recent interview that if he is not appreciated or wanted he will go , this march will prove the tipping point IMO and he will see it as an insult to all the hard work he has put into the club .
Now I'm no rebrand fan at all but you have to be fair the guy has pretty much done everything he said he would so far .

Langstone paid off
Stadium capacity increase
New training ground
Big name players
Premier league football
Steady finances at the club and debt free

Now I'm a pro blue and would rather be in blue but , this march needs serious consideration before it is held on this day .
What other owner will come in and buy tan out ?
I'm pretty sure the price will be over 100mill now after all he's put into the club
Will new owners have the same vision and want to increase the stadium further or complete a new training ground ?
Will they spend big money on players or just reap the benefits of the prem for a season or two then f**k off ?

Personally I think it's better the devil we know with tan who is undoubtably the most successful owner we have ever had than some other guy who could cripple the club in the long run and put us back where we were a few years ago !

Bluebirds unite should be concentrating on getting tan to listen or talk and getting people to wear blue at games not marches on probably one of the biggest days in the clubs history .

This march is a BAD idea and will have a detrimental effect on the season IMO .

So you would stifle freedom of expression and freedom of speech and the freedom to demonstrate in a peaceful manner for a season in the premier league. If Tan is the type of person to throw his toys out of his pram(and he uses City as his toy)'just because a group of people are prepared to stand up to his bullying way's.Then he is not much of a man'is he.Personally'i will be glad to see the back of him.I think 53 seasons down the City gives me the right to protest.I will be on the march. And so will a lot of free thinking fans

I recall reading a statement from the club back in 2012 stating that the re-brand will go through for 2012/13 but there will be discussions and dialouge with the supporters and supporter groups to talk through the changing of the badge and how the re-brand can progress.

This did not happen. why was this deal not honoured?

Re: ' This bluebirds unite march against Man City '

With every week that goes by this once great messageboard is getting to look more and more like a TV soap opera with the same storylines being run again and again and again. I've been on holiday for the last few weeks and now I'm back guess what the same arguements, not debates, are going on. Unfecking believeable and really sad to see this board reduced to this, but I suppose it's better than the tread asking if "Roath Tragic" should be allowed back if he only posts under the "Roathie" username.

I thought Bluebirds Unite was going to be an organisation that would be able to push for a return to our traditional colours but I realised that was not going to happen when I read the "Official Statement" on thier facebook page. The individual who wrote it thinks enough about themselves to say he "Doesn't want to debate" the issue which means follow me blindly in whatever I do and never question me. At that point I lost any interest in the group.

I suppose anyone if you intend going on this "March" you are happy with the message of "We Will Be Showing Who Cardiff City Bluebirds Are". I'd really like to know who the feck Cardiff City Bluebirds are as the "Identity" of the club I have supported is "Cardiff City Football Club". But hey ho this is BU and no debate is allowed so if the leaders want to "Rebrand" the primary identity of our club so be it because remember "There is no debate" with this lot.

Of more concern to me is that BU say "It Is Important We Turn Up And Set The Scene For The Season" . What the feck does that mean and exactly what scene are they intent on setting next season. :?

I'll be avoiding this group like they have the plague and the scene I will be setting next season is one where I'll be supporting MM and the team 100%.

Anyone want to join me in doing the same.

You have said its a democratic world.
I don't agree with fans wearing the red and I am stunned and hurt that they do, but that's what they want to do.
Tan will do what he wants anyway.

Everyone does things in their own way, for now I prefer to just continue to wear my BLUE with pride,

I hope Sian can control them but history has proved that will be very difficult to do. Honestly I can see no good coming from this.

I controlled 3,000 when we marched against the Riddler Tony, not one bad incident, infant we got praise from the media.

Yes you did but marching against Ridsdale and marching against Tans vision are two different things one almost destroyed our club the other saved it and what thanks does he get? protest. Don't be surprised if he says enough is enough

Like I say, I am not marching on it, but they are entitled to their views being heard and yes I want my Identity back,I will be wearing BLUE at every game.
As I have said before Tan will do what he wants and will leave when he is ready.

So do I want a return to blue but dialogue is the way not protest. I don't own a red shirt but you do our club no favour annis by constantly making bluebirds Unite threads into stickies its as good as promoting them and say what you will what they are doing is damaging our club and the fans relationship with our owner. It will all end in tears.

That's totally unfair as this Bluebirds unite topic was against them, I try to be fair to everyone .

When VT goes scuba diving for some publicity shots, at the precise point he is submerging under the water, we can march for the duration of one oxygen tank. Soon as he's rising out of the deep sea we must all stop and disband like nothing had happened.
