She is the creator and ambassador for BU. She has her views and we agree with them.
Maybe she was out of context with what she said regarding fans who accept the rebrand but can you honestly blame her frustration at the people who accept the rebrand?
Sian works voluntarily for BU and is entitled to her views. Vincent Tan abused BU and he is in a much higher position than Sian and I didn't see you lot complaining when Tan called anti-rebrand supporters negative and unnecessary ...

BU have constantly been slated by VT, Steve Borley, our board members and people who support the rebrand - Nothing is said by you complainers but as soon as Sian hits back at their claims - she is the enemy?

Get a grip of yourselves. BU are in the right - BU are fighting to save the identity of the club and restore the pride because they care about the team that they love. Everything is voluntary.
If you lot are seriously telling me that you are happy that Cardiff are red then you need your head sorted.

Like I said. I'm not having a go. I admire what she is doing and I agree with most of their goals but not all of them. Therefore I choose not to follow BU.

Bluebirds Unite appears to be doing anything but unite Bluebirds fans.

More silly comments from the leader, yes it's good they are doing something positive but doesn't excuse the tripe that just seems to keep coming out of them.

BU should be trying to attract the fans that don't want to join them not criticising and insulting them, as that will get them nowhere.

BU is a waste of time.

They think there bigger then they actually are.

Spot on!

If any of you other lads could quote anything else Sian has said then I'll consider your views but unfortunately, people can only keep quiet for a certain amount of time.

Sian has access to Facebook, Twitter & The Forum and will jump at the chance to increase the BU name with the media and I respect everything she has said and done.

You lot who constantly slate BU are no better at all. BU are attempting to Unite the fans but you haters are the ones who aren't allowing that to happen.

I tell you what... support the rebrand if need be but why don't you just sign the petition and wear blue in the ground to show that you prefer blue over the red.
Maybe you don't agree with all the views of BU, Sian or our members but I'm sure that you could at least agree with our views of regaining our blue identity?
It is never too late to stand up and be heard lads/lasses. Wear blue to games but support the rebrand if you have to!

I can't stress enough how important the blue kit and original badge are to BU. I personally would do anything to regain our true colours. I'm actually close to begging the "on the fence" crew to join our side!

She has understood and conceded what she said was wrong. You know, people are able to correct what they say - Like VT did when he hit out at Celtic and changed his story when there was a backlash...

Why would we want to bring that up in the meeting anyway?

Blue is on the agenda, Cardiff City Bluebirds is on the agenda, ways of moving forward is on the agenda... Correcting yourself again obviously isn't on the agenda.

The fact is, BU have had a lot of time in the press lately and VT has finally realised exactly how important our heritage and tradition is. BU are slowly but surely climbing! :ayatollah:

Re: Branson in a pickle?

'Bluebirds Unite was originally formed as a group of people wanting to celebrate the clubs success, and show distaste for the rebrand. We offered others to join and it has grown from there.

I have never had to act in a position that represents 1,000's of people before. I have had to learn fast and alter my own options and views to try to represent a general conscious in our group. This isn't always easy and I won't always get it right. When ever I've issued officially BU statements they have been thought out. I don't have the liberty to post what I like any more, because in favour of trying to give the best possible position to the group.

We don't agree or condone with any form of bullying and try to moderate other people's opinions that may be posted in our groups.

Every human being is entitled to their own opinions and views.

I personally apologize to anybody I may offend.

The fact of the matter remains that Bluebirds Unite is a group formed from people who wish to see our clubs true identity restored. If enough people show what they want, then people may take notice. If you don't agree with this that is fine and we may not agree with yours , thankfully this is a democratic society and that's our right.

We should all try to respect each other and we will try our very best to keep this a peaceful celebration.

All we all want is our club in a secure position top flight where we can enjoy success as Cardiff City Bluebirds

Hopefully more people will feel they can join us in the future.

I'm not very good with message boards, but have written the reply as I would never set out to intentionally offend anybody.

This is a post from myself personally
Thanks

Sian Branson (As in Richard not pickle) lol

We have a meeting at the Canton Liberal Club, Cowbridge Rd, Cardiff
Thursday the 25th July 7-9 with live music for anybody like minded who wishes to join in support.

Further evidence that this messageboard is really just one big game for you, for gods sake. Let me make this clear, I really couldn't give a toss if a little twit of man thinks I am wrong or in fact a troll.

The only opinion that counts on whether or not I am a troll or not is the opinion of Lakey, Gavin and Annis and guess what? I am still here after more than year of posting. :laughing6:

This totally sums up why myself and many fans wont entertain or support the BU.

The divide this is causing is a joke and until Sian or anyone at BU has any alternatives to VT and the current boards regime, nobody and I mean nobody will change things, its that simple.

For anyone member or so called senior people at the BU that allow fans to get bullied, threatened, attacked and verbally abused for simply supporting CCFC in its current state is a disgrace. Go about your business in a fair manner, use group efforts to overcome the hurdles, have your meetings, use posters and your own marketing, but the BU need to sit down and to be honest have a re-think. Everything the club does, BU or its member have things to say, and I thought BU were only against colour? some of the things I see and heard are well shocking if im honest and the BU needs to distance themselves from some of there own members because the messages coming from its member, are totally different from Sian's.

The message that comes across is not we want blue back, its like slander against the club in all its does. From marketing, replica Kits, its superstore, any form of club promotion towards Malaysia or Asia and its slated. literally anything it does, someone or a member of the BU have something negative to say about it and I only though it was about colour????

And when fans like myself still maintain a support in CCFC... we get stoned in the street.

I might get battered for this post, but truly being honest, I don't care, as a supporter of this club, in its current state I care about the future of my club, I care about maintaining its history, I care that we still have a club to support and watch on a Saturday day/night.

I support CCFC, like myself I hope most of you are just grateful we still have a club to support, remember A club is better than no Club. Read some of the posts on here, the moderation is shocking, and to be honest, freedom of speech yes, but please do not drag this club down to levels that can have an massive impact on its future.

Sad Sad Times.

You've been a abusive in the past pretend Rotherham based comedian. Now, if I was a troll surely Gavin and Lakey, two moderators who ban trolls for fun nowadays would have banned me a long time ago? Same goes for the site owner.

There are plenty of abusive posters on this site, do you want me to list the number of times someone as abused another member in the past week? Do all these posters need to be banned?
