So you are aiming for top spot then I take it? Next season first and foremost survival is the name of the game but if we can achieve that then hopefully we can finish above one of the top 7which will take a massive effort.
What the mint with a hole cant seem to grasp is the top flight is nothing like it was early eighties when we topped it on 6 occasions and had a genuine shot at winning it those days are over the gap is too big. So yes all clubs do look at finishing the top of their mini league. Feck as new boys you really are rather nieve to the reallity of the league that will change though after a few games.
