Jon started ridiculing us by name so of course I would respond. I wish he hadnt as I try to stay away from rebrand stuff now.

Craig, you are 100% correct but the hypocritical Mr Rebrand has dug himself into a hole he cannot climb out of and is now clutching at straws in an attempt to 'justify' his increasingly embarrassing posts

Quote (from JonCCFC): "Can you at least show SOME understanding of my logic?"

I would have far more understanding if he (Mr Rebrand) coveted the badge at least as much (if not more) than the colour but he clearly states he doesn't; preferring instead to 'choose' the parts of the rebrand that suit his personal but ill-thought out crusade

He tries to bring others into it by calling them hypocrites but as I see it they don't keep harping on about selected parts of the issue; they are simply either wholly against the red (shirt and badge) or they reluctantly (in most cases) accept that he club have simply moved on and are now reaping the benefits (if a successful club and achieving the Premier League dream are your thing) ;)

Personally, I would 100% vote for blue IF it were ever to be offered democratically but it isn't and won't be until (at the earliest) Tan leaves and I sincerely hope that is a long time coming, as I believe he has a 'plan' for our beloved club and I would like to see it come to fruition :thumbright:

The problem with JonCCFC (aka Mr Rebrand) is that he cannot see the wood for the trees and is so entrenched he has forgotten what is most important, i.e. the successful future of Cardiff City FC itself  :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

It's a crying shame but you just can't help some people, eh? :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

By calling Jon Mr Rebrand you devaluing what is a good post.

I don't see the hypocrisy here. Jon has already said he doesn't care for the badge, just wishes to see us in blue, so where has he been a hypocrite? He's made it quite clear that it's the way he feels for quite some time now.

I don't agree with him on this particular issue, but he's got the right to an opinion. I feel some users just enjoy having a go at him.

Myself, I won't buy anything with that badge on, as I see it as actively endorsing the rebrand, which I am very much against, but get off Jon's back for having his own opinion.

Because you've had a go at him for his opinion before. He's had this view from the start & like I say, whilst I don't agree with him, who am I to tell him what to wear/not to wear.. Just like I don't have any right to have a pop at anyone who wears a red shirt.

Re: I think the away kit

Im not criticising his view. His view is his. Im merely pointing out its hypocritical.

He claimed in this thread he belittles those for wearing red as they are supporting the rebrand.

Whilst he buys a rebranded top.

Even you must see that Chucks?

You've completely misread it.

I said I belittle those who wear red yet claim they want blue back.

It's not hypocritical, he hates the red so buys blue. He said he doesn't care for the badge.

As far as I'm concerned, he belittles those who wear red, but claim to want blue back... Now I don't agree with him belittling, but I agree that you cannot claim to want blue back & then go and wear the red.

If he has ridiculed anyone for supporting the rebrand, then yes, then wearing a rebrand shirt would be hypocritical.

All depends on how it's worded I guess.

Jules,

Jon cant seem to comprehend that we think he is an idiot because he blasts Tan at every opportunity, belittles those who wear red and says hes anti rebrand yet he still buys a rebranded product of Tan's thus supporting Tan's rebrand and Tan's business based on his business model. If Jon accepted that by buying the rebranded merchandise, whether red or blue, he was supporting the rebrand, then we'd accept his viewpoint but his current viewpoint his hypocritically illogical.

You on the other hand have just said 'i wont wear red' and be done with it without attacking those who make their choice which is why you are not a hypocrite like Jon. However, our dear Jon can't seem to understand this. Before Jon was pulled up on this by myself firstly, then Polo who tore him a new one, he didn't hold back in his views of those who wore red. Since he's been outed he has been very conservative in his opinions of reluctant reds.

Im a reluctant red who would ideally rather blue back but im not 100% anti rebrand. TLG is 100% anti rebrand, Jon is not. He still goes to games, he still buys rebrand merchandise and albeit, he may not accept the red as others do he is still not as anti rebrand as he claims.

Therefore I have on the basis of these findings come to the conclusion that Jon is a hypocrite.

The first (wear red and claim to want blue back) is reasonable as it includes a certain 'acceptance' of the colour change and the reasons behind it, no matter how individual they are to Tan

The second isn't unreasonable either. However, in your particular case you have 'selected' the bit you want to support for no other reason than you fecked up when buying into the rebrand and cannot escape that simple FACT

I agree with what your saying and I don't think I'm a hypocrite which makes u right.
Yes I own the blue shirt from last season but I still hate the badge,
I buy a top every season but will never buy a red home shirt for as long as I live.
But although like thousands I've accepted the rebrand cos we've had to, my silent protest against it is not to buy red which I never will.
