yes it was, I had never been to a football match in my life before I started working for Annis.

It was a lucky break for me in many respects, I have only ever seen the really big games and a promotion season.

Steve if it is Terry Phillips (and there is a good chance it is) then TP must have his own source to have briefed Carl? So that brings you back to someone at the club or may be a football agent?

Whoever it was Carl posted in good faith and has absolutely nothing to gain from making things up. Unless he predicts a transfer to the nearest nano second then someone will find something to moan about so he has to be extra vigilant to avoid the very predictable flack which will come his way.

Personally I welcome Carl's updates but that doesn't mean I take every word as gospel because the world simply doesn't work that way.

I believe the gun was jumped because of the Facebook and twitter rumours that have now been added to the equation and as an example my mates best friends lodger saw dirk kuyt trying to enrol his daughter into llandaff girls school so kuyt is coming.
In my opinion nothing much has come from the club since jones reign ended and most of the transfers have not been predicted on this board in malkys reign.
Carl is under a lot of pressure to keep the hits coming and I personally believe that some of the info that gets to Carl these days is done deliberately to throw people of the scent of the real transfer targets because I believe a lot of the tabloids lift their stories off sites like this
