Is it in Cardiff? Can you physically catch a flight from Cardiff? Do you really think any player would sign for Cardiff over Swansea simply because he would have to travel 18 1/2 miles further to the nearest airport? Because that's what you implied in your original post. And you think I'm clutching at straws! And there was silly old me thinking you were one of the more intelligent ones! Agh well more fool me! :laughing6:

Right, can I ask where I said that a player would sign for that reason? You stupid tw*t!

If you actually READ the thread correctly (Although I know they struggle to read down West ;)) You'd notice that the resident WUM asked what you can do in Cardiff that you cannot in Swansea.

I replied with the answer given. I did not state that players would sign because of it.

Now, you coming on here & trying to discredit Cardiff International Airport from Cardiff stinks of you having a massive chip on your shoulder.

Kindly f**k off. :malky: :D

Gotcha! :laughing6: The thread turned into a debate about what Swansea and Cardiff had to offer this potential signing and YOU joined in by replying that Cardiff had an airport whereby Swansea did not. So yes you inadvertantly did say that he could sign for that reason! Is Cardiff international airport in Cardiff? It's a simple question and not something I'm trying too discredit Cardiif for? It's a fact isn't it?

Like I said it is my opinion.

It's great that two Welsh teams are moving forward and possibly competing for such a high calibre player.

Its the opinion of most people except those actually living in Swansea.

Cardiff, the City itself, is cosmopolitan and one of the fastest growing in Europe. Swansea, well, its a glorified town and is a dump.

Yes parts of the Gower are nice but so f8cking what the sun rarely shines here and when it does June / July the players will be on their holidays anyway.

ffs dont you live in merthyr tydfil  if i lived there i wouldn't call anywhere else a dump  . And yes cardiff has a nice city centre but what else does it have to offer, without doubt a european player would choose swansea over cardiff at this point in time that may change in the future who knows.

So if Cardiff only has a nice city centre, what exactly does Swansea have? Take away the European football side of it as you could be out of that before the group stages, explain why a European footballer would choose Swansea? Looking forward to your reply

Continental style of play, one of the biggest names in football as manager, recent trophy win, established mid table Premier League team, senior Dutch internationals as team mates constant, forward progression as a club, and away from football one of the most stunning areas of coastline your likely to find.

Bazza! Ok, i know your a little slow, and I have explained too you previously, but you chose to ignore/not comprehend, so here goes, now try yes? Just try to concentrate ok? Prior to your post regarding Cardiff having an airport whereby Swansea does not, the main topics being discussed were why said player should join Cardiff over Swansea 'better city blah blah', you then replied to a post asking what has Cardiff got that Swansea hasn't yes? You replied Cardiff has an airport! So then, any sane person would believe that you are adding to the original debate would it not? Get it now? ..............Nah! I really don't think you do! :laughing6: As I said maybe another time ye! ;)

You live in neath, so if cardiff is such a fantastic place why do you live in neath and not cardiff, if you want to go shopping then yes go to cardiff, its better than swansea, if you want to enjoy the outside and have a adventurous life style go to swansea its better than cardiff didnt one of the beach's in swansea get voted 2nd best beach in europe this year, as for european players, i think they would rather play for a club thats in europe next season, think they would rather play for Laudrup than your manager who's name i have forgotten, and swansea have a bigger profile in european football than cardiff.

Continental style of play? You are no Barcelona mush but if that's what you think then great. Biggest name in football as manager? Yes, Laudrup is a good manager but for how much longer the guy wants out. Recent trophy win? Congratulations but only you lot can remember you've won the Capital One cup or the Mickey Mouse cup as you previously called it. Established mid table Premier league team? For 2 seasons well done. Constant forward progression as a club? Not what Laudrup recently said saying you can't go any further as a club, his words not mine. Most stunning areas of coastline? I'm sure the Spaniards love it down the Gower one week a year, explains why they all live in the marina.

Let's spin that around for Cardiff then......Typical British style of play (hoof into channels and chase), basically unknown outside of UK Malky Mackay as manager, No trophy win in 86 years, First year in top flight in 50 years, Rebrand issues, oh, but decent shops.

So, you tell me who a European player would be most attracted to.
