We're not against modern football yet were pictured with a banner with that statement, we won't harm the club but we are organising a march on a high profile game, we want recognition but we are are against the club. And then you wonder why majority of fans suspect your intensions.

Steve I'd personally like to invite you (As a representative of the club) To attend our next meeting.

Regarding the one small flag that was put up, its already been stated by Sian that its not what Bluebirds Unite stand for and she reiterated that in future please no one bring any banners/flags with this on. No one knew that out the blue someone had put it up, the person has apologised, but you cant stop the odd person out of hundreds saying how they personally feel, but that is 100% not what the group is about.

How is a peaceful march against the disgusting/vile rebrand of our identity going to harm our club? I rem you saying the same before I did it against Ridsdale, but later admitted I did no harm to the club. We went straight in the ground and cheeered our team on and went on to beat Boro 1 nil, in fact when we all went in the ground the atmosphere lifted, even the Football League show backed it.
By choosing a high profile game,it will of course let the world out there know that a lot of fans do want our identity back.

We are not against our club, we want our club to remember their identity and let them know that fans want it back.

In regards to question two how on earth is driving tan out an option. People seem to think that now we are in the premier league we are in a strong position to force him out. Can't see that myself and would love to hear an explanation as to what happens to the club if he did walk away

Of course it is. Take admin, etc. etc. and the consequences of that. I dont want it but its there. It comes with many negatives but its still an option. You go to a cliff edge you can either walk back away from the edge or jump off. Jumping off has more severe consequences but its still a choice, albeit a potentially lethal one.

Nowhere did I suggest we are in a strong position to drive him out. I just asked a question. The questions point was nothing to do with that as an option but more to see if Steve believed that was the only way returning to blue would be possible, hence the term hypothetical.

Why can't Cardiff City give us one single logical reason for changing the kit to our team from blue to red? Why has no one in the board room said to Mr Tan, if nots broke don't fix it! We have a blue stadium, we are called the Bluebirds, we have an enormous history of wearing blue! We now play in red and black, still in a blue stadium with fans wearing blue, singing bluebird songs "the blues are going up" this will never stop! We will just look stupid on a world wide stage! Will this get investors interested? No! We will be a laughing stock!
Why change the badge? No reason! To help sales in Malasyia? Wtf do those fans bring on match days? There not even real! And insult to injury is some fans who are completely against this Micky mouse rebrand have said they might have accepted a red and blue kit like Barcelona, but Tan wouldn't even meet them in the middle?

Let's be blunt Bluebirds Unite are a small percentage of the fan base at the most 1000 out of a possible 26000. Most fans are in the middle and accept the 'red or dead' philosophy. You can argue until the cows come home whether that is right or not but the fact is most and by most I mean 90% of fans fall into "We would prefer blue but accept red because we don't want to be dead"

We can see from the KCB debacle that fans will walk away from anything which threatens the club.

So BU organise a march against the club. This is before they have talked to him, understood where he is coming from, indeed before he has been given a chance to settle Langston and convert debt to equity.

you thinking steve has made money out of the club is as ill informed as those people who think we are in a strong position now we are in the premier league to go into admin and rid the club of tan.
I will be interested when BU bring their blue print out for the way forward. I also think at some stage if possible if yourself and a few fresh faces were able to sit down with the club heirachy just so you get a feel for the real position of the club financially and how it still needs tan to continue to back it financially.

A club in Cardiff would never 'just fold' FFS. At worst we'd go through all the shit and then be reborn in a lower league with a points deduction as a Phoenix club. When VT came in we were in the High Court being wound up, what is so hard to understand about that?

Also I want the best for MY club not for myself and if that is selfish then I am as well as a sell out.

However, what is really selfish is putting CCFC in mortal danger of being wound or put into administration and falling a couple of leagues at least because "I want a Blue Shirt"

Also it is selfish to go against what the majority want and that is VT at the helm guiding us to further success and sorting out our historical debt.

Personally, i agree with the posters regarding just wearing Blue tops, scarves, flags & banners to the stadium on match day.
I think this would have the biggest impact, especially at the high profile media/televised games at the CCS.

Remember the Riverside protests a few years ago, when fans wore those chocolate & amber scarves. Same type of thing, but the Blue/white would be on a much bigger scale, & have a far greater general audience too.

If we were given an opportunity to speak with the club we would gladly accept- So far no explanation apart some very badly worded reasons from Tan have ever been given.

I will be interested when BU bring their blue print out for the way forward. I also think at some stage if possible if yourself and a few fresh faces were able to sit down with the club heirachy just so you get a feel for the real position of the club financially and how it still needs tan to continue to back it financially.

If we were given an opportunity to speak with the club we would gladly accept- So far no explanation apart some very badly worded reasons from Tan have ever been given.
Might be a good start to sit with some representatives from fan bases throughout Wales and the club actually talk to the fans –

A club in Cardiff would never 'just fold' FFS. At worst we'd go through all the shit and then be reborn in a lower league with a points deduction as a Phoenix club. Tan ain't going to EVER LISTEN to BU. Tan knows we'd rather blue but he doesn't care. As already stated, acknowledgement doesn't mean you have to give a crap about something. Tan would have turned us back blue by now if he gave a crap. He doesn't. That's why he's rich, that's why he's successful and that's why he's rebranded us. Only his opinion matters and that's the way it's staying whilst he's running the club. The truth is hard to take but that's the truth.

Not quite true. The club would have the superficial appearance of being Cardiff City but like Swansea City it would have the suffix of 2002 (or in our case 2013) or something similar.

That might not mean much to you but considering the huge argument about history/heritage we would by definition be supporting a team which would have only a limited amount of both. Gone would be the 1927 history and our heritage of once playing at Ninian Park. To me that is far more of a sacrifice than losing the blue shirt for now.

Newport County is a good example of what that means. They play in Amber & Black but their Welsh Cup win, European adventure and promotions are achievements of another team as 'their' history began 1989.

Where did I say I supported Tan out? I mentioned it to prove a point. I'm a reluctant red riding out the storm. Option 2 and a Phoenix club would mean losing far more as you said. I agree with you on that. There's two options and forcing Tan out means we'd lose more. The only other option is to sit it out and see what unfolds. That's what I'm doing.

Time scale - We already have plans in motion but will not release details until final conclusions are reached with the courses of action we are pursuing.

Ideally we'd like a resolution tomorrow. As stated above this will not happen?
So we will continue to keep going all season - If that is what we have to do in order to try and keep Cardiff City's TRUE identity alive then so be it.

Would be lovely to kick back and enjoy CCFC in the prem but unfortunately we have been backed into a corner.

Giving up and letting go is not an option, so it’s going to be an eventful season both on and off the pitch.
