Carl, you did actually say "the club asked for representation of both message boards when it wished to rebrand the football club"

Funny that. Coming from a person who has made so many mistakes with his "updates" & either deleting them totally or hiding behind some excuse.

I dunno whether to stay out of this one or get involved. Either way it could get mildly entertaining. :D

Exactly my point Craig. My point was asking how were these views subsequently collected & presented to the club? Carl just assumed & totally missed my point. :laughing6:

Alex, Carl has never hidden and says when he is wrong, but I would say of the Updates 90% have been proved Correct. Come on Alex I am sure you would get on well with Carl if you knew him. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

How were the members view collected? In what form were these representations brought forward to the club officials?

Or did it not happen?

You are not getting it, 15 people were invited to attend a meeting, of which the subject matter was unknown to us until we arrived, so how could the members views of any of the groups be collected on the matter before any of us knew what it was about.

In Carl's defence he did say he made a mistake after posting that post.

I'm afraid it's YOU that isn't getting it Carl, how were these views collected SUBSEQUENTLY?

Where did I say it was that meeting? maybe it's you that needs to read posts carefully before you respond... Maybe that's why so many of your updates are totally incorrect.

Because it was that meeting that Craig and I were discussing, when you rudely interrupted.

Interrupted? It's posting on a bloody Internet forum.

My question, which you still haven't answered, is how were the views of the rebrand collected & presented to the club. Or was it, as I suspect, the usual characters speaking on the forum's behalf, when the forum hadn't been balloted/questioned at all...

My post about a thread being created every month is right and you're all wrong. I win. Next. :D

We went to a meeting to be told about the rebrand.

You're still avoiding the question.

You went to the meeting regarding the rebrand. You were told that the club wanted representation of thoughts from the forum (according to your posts) so how were those thoughts subsequently collected & presented to the club?

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/subsequently- definition of subsequently.

So you add the word subsequently, after  you realised you got it wrong.

No Carl, it was you who left down my throat and started abusing me & hadn't read my post at all. it was a pretty obvious question & a totally fair one too. Which you STILL haven't answered?!

Once you were told the club wanted forum representation (which you claimed in a previous post) what did you do to collect the relevant viewpoints from all members & how did you present it to the club officials that requested it?

Or was it a case of you subsequently speaking on the forum's behalf without ant consultation at all, which I suspect?

None of us attending the meeting knew what the meeting was about, so how could anyone collect other people's viewpoints ahead of a meeting that we didn't know what it was about.

Carl, why did you say "fail, oops," earlier then? Does that have any relevance to your debate with Chuckles?

Another point, how was the representative selected? Was it balloted on here? I'd have thought so as that would be the fairest way. The most common vote being the one chosen by the majority.

I've started the balloting with a simple in/out referendum. :old:

Wow, some bollocks on here tbh. As if Tan is gonna pay attention to Carl, this forum or anyone. He does what he wants. He's the Malaysian Peter Whittingham.

Looking at what you have said I can understand you didn't know what was going to be discusses in the meeting, but as chuckles said who voted you from this forum to represent the forum. And if you did say anything at the meeting to the club did you say it was the thoughts of the forum or your own personal thoughts.

But at the end of the day, this forum has an owner, and the owner is going to send who he trusts/wants to go. there doesnt need to be a vote to see who represents the forum, as the owner represents the forum. if he didnt, and the majority of people didnt agree with him from the start, the forum wouldnt be successful and people would post elsewhere meaning the forum wouldnt have built up a following. So the forum owner can send who he wants to represent this(his) forum as its his train set.
