You said that I was speaking for myself when I mentioned embarrassment and dignity. I told you to open your eyes and realise that the whole football world is laughing at us. Then you start insulting me. Hilarious.
The greater football world doesn't give one about us.And as for laughing at us-Its a weakness to show their getting at you=like I said Grow a pair.
They're not "getting at me", I'm just proving you wrong as I'm not "speaking for myself".

Vincent Tan has been the best thing ever for this club.
1. Premier League
2. Going to settle the debt and float the club to look for investment
3. He backs the manager and his ability
4. New training facilities
5. Better engagement with the community especially the young and disabled
6. The reputation of the club has got better during the Tan era
7. Stadium expansion planning is underway
8. Better quality of players coming to the club
...and all you have to is accept red. It's not hard. I think we've got the better end of the deal.
Feck me, mate. Wait for the onslaught from the 'Negativos'![]()
How dare you come on here and post something that is pretty straghtforward, i.e. that 'all the above' in exchange for a change of shirt colour is not really a bad deal under the circumstances we found ourselves under before VT arrived![]()
Great 'post' as far as I am concerned and exactly 'why' the majority of fans are 'realists' when it comes to reluctantly accepting the colour change![]()
Most will agree IMHO but the loudest ones (with the negative agendas they can't really justify) won't![]()

1. OK
2. Not done yet.
3. To be expected.
4. Not done yet.
5. This was already the case.
6. Our reputation was improving long before tan arrived.
7. OK
8. OK
3 out of 8 isn't bad. All of this and more could have been achieved with out re branding the club.

All this could have been achieved without the rebrand.

Personally I don't believe for a second that tan would have walked away. I simply do not buy this load of cobblers about changing to red to get access to far eastern income streams. I believe he did it for one reason only , because he could.

Tan is desperate for us to start wearing red, he proved this fact by spending thousands of pounds on scarves and trying to get us to wear them by giving prizes for doing so. Despite this, other than the Brighton game there have been less and less scarves on display. There are of course those fans that will always buy the home shirt no matter what, but if you have to buy a shirt next season, it would speak volumes and really help the cause for a return to our traditional home colours if you buy the blue away kit.
Tan can make the players wear red, he can change the website to red, he can change the stadium to red, but he cannot make us fans wear red.
It is the most simple effective way of getting our point across.
BLUE ARMY!!
agree 100 % hate the red kit and badge and it was very disrespectful of Tan to do what he did.

He did it because he could, of course he did, but he still would have walked if he couldn't do what he wanted. He would have then looked elsewhere for a club he could impose his vision on. The simple fact is, the majority of fans accepted the rebrand in the summer last year. You had the choice there and then, identity of £100m investment. The majority chose the £100m investment. Just because we're in the Premier League now you cant suddenly change your mind. That wasn't part of the offer. Its done and dusted and im not going to continue moaning about it. We're red, the dragon is our emblem and Tan is our owner. We're a Premier League team and im going to enjoy myself.

Easily offset by the millions he made in profit from his shares in Facebook. You win some, you lose some. Sometimes you have to walk away from the poker table and come back and play another day. People forget Tan is a billionaire and his wealth is increasing every day thanks to his investments.
£40m is a large sum but nothing he couldn't recuperate easily in another venture.

No I was encouraging in debate. Had you talked to the forum owner and your moderation team you would have known my intentions.
If you cant handle debate and are going to cry like a petulant child and throw your toys out of the pram then thats your issue. I was actually going to reply to you and say fair enough, lets agree to disagree, but there you go.
Whatever floats your boat.
