All season plenty of people have been saying don't protest during the season, don't protest at matches, don't disrupt the players, wait 'til the end of the season etc.
Now that people are doing something, they're getting grief for it. What harm are they doing?

The only harm they are doing is upsetting that weird bunch that have embraced the red.

Expected better ideas than the poor ones on show.

Lets hear your ideas then. We could do with some clever thinking on this.

Tan said in the end of season speech that we'll always be red at home. I feel sorry for most of them. They're fighting for a lost cause. They remind me of those people who's cat has run away and they sit at home in anticipation every day waiting for it one day to return but it wont. Thats how sad it is.
That day, in the speech, it came straight from our owners mouth. No flirting around the issue, all bullshit aside and straight up from Tan. That day was the day Tan made his intentions clear and a wake up call.
As for some of them, where was this passion last year when Chuckles tried to get something going? As much as he is annoying at times hes been consistent and had the conviction from day one to stick to it. Many others give up after getting abused by their own fans. I had to protect my Twitter account to stop abuse and gave up after a week. Baker, from CCMB was another very outspoken member on Twitter in opposition to it.
A week later I became a moderator on the other forum (14/6/2012). I tried to deal with it but scarfgate annoyed me. Tan trying to force red on people in a manipulative fashion. Then when Tan made his speech I thought why bother? What can I do about a man who puts his beliefs before the fans? and thats where I am now, just embracing it. Of course I'd rather be blue back but im no longer living in a cloud of delusion where I think its going to happen under Tan. I''ve seen the reality of the situation.
If those fans put their efforts into helping the cause rather than abusing us then we'd have as strong a chance as Everton as getting what we wanted but those fans at that time wanted Premier League and the £100m. The flashing lights of the Premier League were too strong.
Two ships sailed last summer and the majority jumped on the one offering £100m.
The minority jumped on the ship offering our identity back and a few decided to walk away like TLG.
When the ship with the majority crashes the ship with the minority will be the first point of call for help keep it afloat.
Thats the truth of the matter. You cant board 2 ships at the same time and fans made their choice.
Sorry for the long post and its not specifically aimed at you.![]()

I haven't got any, I am not one who wants to protest etc.

There was a choice;
1) Take the £100m investment offered
2) Let Tan walk and take administration and deal with it like a man as Portsmouth fans did.
The lure of the Premier League lights was too strong after many seasons of failure and many chose 1. That was their choice then and they should live with the consequences of that decision.

You're right there but if someone truly supported a cause they'd take the worst consequence and for that it'd be admin/phoenix club as Leeds United did. I was using the extreme to make a point Baked.

It was done in the press by a few fans. It was done by emails and letters from others begging Tan to stay.

'Following a comprehensive review of wider supporter feedback via email, letters, media coverage and polls run via the official Supporters Club and Media Wales and as a consequence of the above commitment, Cardiff City Football Club will also reactivate rebranding proposals with a view to exploiting and maximising its brand and commercial revenues in international markets, which it is hoped in turn will bring success to the club locally, whilst also attracting new partners and investors.'
The fans got what they wanted. You may have not voted but many others did on your behalf.

You didn't actually believe all that flannel did you? If they were serious they could very easily have polled the season ticket holders, but of course they probably wouldn't have got the answer they wanted then.
