The City and County can be broadly divided into 4 physical areas. In the north, the Lliw Uplands present an open moorland feature; the Gower Peninsula in the west, a rural landscape with contrasting coasts and a collection of small villages; the urban and suburban centre stretching from Swansea to Gorseinon and Pontarddulais; and the coastal strip around Swansea Bay.
The Gower Constituency lies entirely within the borders of the City & County of Swansea.

I have no problem with you Mr Chuckle. You seem to be a reasonably intelligent and articulate chap, however there are certain individuals who post on this forum, who are so anti-Swansea that their tiny little brains can't comprehend that Swansea has a lot of stuff going for it. Including the Gower peninsula.

Quite right Mr Paxman.
Also, taken from the City and County of Swansea website...The City and County can be broadly divided into 4 physical areas. Taken from Martin Caton (MP for the Gower)....The Gower Constituency lies entirely within the borders of the City & County of Swansea.

The county boundary is just a political creation, it means nothing.
I'll give you Mumbles but not Gower. Full of Cardiff there anyway.

So if the Gower is politically, geographically, and administratively part of the City and County of Swansea... In what way is it NOT a part?
Care to explain?
