TBH taffapple rarely posts something like this dave, so maybe there is a meeting but i think even if there was one it would be this is the plan said on tans side on then many nodders around the table who agree, end of meeting

On what grounds do you presume that will be the case?

Take alook around pal we have a board of nodding dogs or ask one of the EIGHT who was in the boardroom but now they have all had the peggy mitchell treatment (sling ya hook) as the script was not followed, so what grounds cover this stink up then or do the storys of moved on to another job in the media fulfill your beliefs in what really went on?
Even the people close to them in the boardroom past and present have said its one mans whim nobody has a say.

the whole rebrand much better AND had more consultation with the Trust and
supporters groups re: the badge/kit etc. He IS adamant that Red is a lucky colour
but perhaps the Blue CAN be incorporated into the kit AND the bluebird will be
remaining (but so will the Dragon?) He wants to arrange meetings once the
season is over to try and get ALL the supporters on board. Brilliant news!! The
red scarf bollocks was decided some time ago by all accounts and WILL go ahead
but he was told that many supporters might not take up the red scarves and will
insist on waving blue ones. Apparently this shocked Tan. He thought all was rosy
in the garden.

Nothing confirmed of course until all parties meet up after the season but it
looks promising. He has ADMITTED some of HIS ideas were not too well thought

All i will say is that if Tan at least shows that he is making the effort for the fans by incorporating the blue back into our kit, even if its only half, and he lets the bluebird remain, then personally my respect for him will go up 1000% and i might even, just might, be able to get on board with what he wants to do here.

I would just like to see that he's not completely intent on ripping the identity away from our club and he does care about what our fans think.

Look at it based on evidence and the work Tan has put in to recognizing the history of the club both around the stadium and training ground. The only people saying 'Tan doesn't care' or that he wants to throw our history away is a certain prominent poster and owner of this website. Someone who has a vested interest due to a certain mate being a former owner themself. Someone else once told me "speak as you find", the problem is that we're jumping to conclusions based on the purposeful misinformation of said poster and others.

I have said for a while next year we would probally play with red shirts and blue shorts next season then we would truly look like the malaysian national side

like I mentioned it last summer: this years kit in red and black was the original away kit but tan changed the kits around so red and black became the prime colours.

the plan for next year is to keep the red but also add blue so the club would be red and blue (Palarse, Barca style) and a few ppl inside the club want to bring a different crest fwd. problem was that Tan insisted on red as prime and the dragon...

as I said last summer, they will prob do a PR stunt out of this, something like "Tan listens to his fans and incorporates more blue into the red bla bla bla"

I'd actually accept a 'Barca style' kit with stripes.

I would be a lot happier if this was the case as at least its a compromise of the 2 colours

I doubt VT will allow us to keep a blue stadium with a blue away kit with a bluebird

Hope this info is true would be great and a real boost for the fans next year

Its just bollocks, hes trying to get people back on side after the scarf fiasco, obvious PR.

1) Borley ain't gonna step down because if it works out he can gain financially, its his only shot
2) Due to the above reason his argument has bias no matter what anyone says and we'd be the same
3) The home kit next season will be red again with no blue
4) We cant even get to play in blue away so what hope do we have of having blue on our home kit next year? None
5) People saying certain changes won't happen are naive and said the same before the initial rebrand

7) The club aren't going to make an announcement until all season tickets are snapped up

It went very well, Tan did the talking and Borley made the tea whilst Michael Isaac did the listening. Didn't last long as Borley had only 3 tea bags.
