Do you honestly think that they will listen to a 1000 or so letters.

Look at the rebrand? They said ok ok we wont do it, when they knew full well the logo and shirts had already been comissioned.

The new badge and seats are probably already a done deal.

Still not leaving it then. All reasoning is in the opening post. If you don't agree, then don't read.

I am as guilty as you all.

I said I was against it i even went to the season ticket hand off meeting.

Yet I sold my soul have bought all the new merchandise and shirts all for a hogroast and some ky tv football.

I hang my head in shame but i have to get on with it. Im not clinging to the notion that we might get it back

That's your own opinion/actions. Does that mean everyone has to follow you? You're telling people we should leave it and ridiculing them for doing something they believe in.

Nobody is forcing anyone to do this or anything else, if you think it's a shit idea - fine. But don't sit the are just slate anyone who's trying, it makes you look silly. :ayatollah:

Its just sad to see you wasting your time Nukes. We have to embrace the changes because the time for action has long gone.

You know what the sad thing is? Its like in politics. If the government announce a 5% tax rise the people go mad. If they say ok ok we will only raise it by 2% people are delighted forgetting that they have just been hit with a 2% rise.

If we keep the Bluebird people will be celebrating, forgetting all along they were going to keep it anyway and overlooking the red eseats and further destruction.

Its just sad is all. Open your eyes.

Stop telling people what to do!

Seriously, if you want to embrace them - fine. Doesn't mean you have the right to tell everyone else to do it too.

This letter gives the people who agree with me, an idea of what to do. If people want to embrace the red, that's their prerogative.

What do you think Tans reaction will be when he opens the letter? That's if it ever reaches him, my bet is that the club officials will bin them all.

Out of sight out of mind, the Malaysians will continue to treat this club like a toy and there is precious little we can all do about it.

Re: DRAFT LETTER TO CLUB RE: Bluebird

Wed Jan 09, 2013 11:14 am

Thats all very well, but the standard resposne is likely to be the same as from Steve Borley last night on twitter, ie 'there are no plans for further changes'.

Then the season ends and the Malaysians announce a new plan for more changes....

Re: DRAFT LETTER TO CLUB RE: Bluebird

Wed Jan 09, 2013 11:14 am

who cares if the bluebird stays or goes, its so miniscule and they may as well go the whole hog and get rid of it, they have not compromised by including it!

bear in mind that they lied to us before publicly, so take any response you get with a bucket load of salt :ayatollah:

Re: DRAFT LETTER TO CLUB RE: Bluebird

Wed Jan 09, 2013 11:15 am

I think its a veryy fair ask just to let us know before we commit more money to the club! Not saying that 90% of the fans will renew with or without confirmation, but It would be nice for the club to acknowledge the fans who have stuck by the club with all the changes, all I ask as a fan is for them to keep the stadium blue, the bluebird ,and create a better badge. If the club promise this then im sure most fans will be satisfied.Any more changes and I feel the club and the owners are showing disrespect to the fans that have stuck with the club

No i was telling people YOU have already embraced it. Otherwise you wouldnt be going week in week out. If you wanted to act the time was at the start.

I have two friends who were with me at the season ticket meeting and they have been holders for 20 years plus and now follow Newport County. I hardly think the club will ever listen to the fans now they can pick and choose which fans they want now premier league beckons

No, I haven't embraced it. How do you know I didn't act? Or how do you know that there' weren't more important issues in my life at that time?

Please, stop assuming and telling me what I have done/feel about things.

Give up with your self- richeous crusades.

If you didnt want this to happen you should have joined keep cardiff blue or voted with your feet and wallet.

Now enjoy the Hogroast and the 7/11 adverts and the non atmosphere and the foam fingers that point in the air that you see at wrestling (yes i saw these in the ground) like the rest of us

YOU WILL BE RENEWING NEXT YEAR.

End of argument

Lads please calm down, win a debate by not name calling. :ayatollah:

I have asked 2 senior people and both could not say yes or no regarding our Bluebird for next season, they both say Tan will decide and has not said yes or no at this moment in time, but they would not rule it out either way.

I HAVEN'T PUT A PENNY IN SINCE THE REBRAND. (See, I can write in capitals too!)

So if I didn't agree with how the club is run, I shouldn't go? I trust you stopped going then, when Ridsdale lied to us all about our money.

I will be renewing will I? How do you get to this? Have you proof?

My proof is based on the notion that you renewed this year after the "major hit" we took with the rebrand.

Based on this anything else they do to the club tantamount to moving to kula lumpar pales in insignificance and on that basis (and your previous loyalty through the years) it is safe to assume that you will be renewing

Re: DRAFT LETTER TO CLUB RE: Bluebird

So, your "proof" is based on an opinion and not facts.

As I've said twice already, please stop assuming things.

It's quite clear you don't agree with me, so just let people have their say on things. If people want to write a letter, great. If they don't, like yourself, then they don't have to.

Simple. This is the last from me, as I can't be dealing with any more of your assumptions and guesses about me.

I sympathise that the time for action has passed and apathy has won the day.

Yes, the first two things are facts. The "facts" that I will renew or that I will do anything are assumptions.
