None of us do really.
But there were defined Tan/Sam camps before the rebrand was ever even mentioned.
So its hardly the rebrand thats caused 'rifts'
.. and the rifts are minimal anyway

In the real world away from the online dramas the rifts are f**k all
I go to football with 2 lads who don't post on here and they go down and just enjoy the football. Don't worry about all the politics at all. Both been going for 20 years or so.
They both know Adam very well and laugh at him too.

doesn't matter what you call it rift or a difference in opinion. The fact is there is a big difference in opinion the people I sit by and I no them quite well now,are all split on there opinion to do with the re brand.
Doesn't matter what anyone says there is a spilt between us fans over the re brand and if you actually talk to people some say yea they are ok others hate it so how can anybody say there is no rift there is and its natural its human to be fair.

I seriously don't, i also don't personally know anyone who has stopped going because of it other than the names you read on here, my old muckas from Aberdare had three bus load at Bolton, same lads same crack no different, what happens in real world and what people think is happening from reading stories on here is totally different.

Spot on Gwyn. Its magnified hugely on here because Annis is a larger than life charachter who has made his feelings known and uses his own forum to channel his anger over the rebrand, thats fair enough its his forum. Yourself and the councillor hace had a long running spat over it, and TLG, makes his feelings known at any given opportunity and he is very articulate and good with a keyboard but thats all it is. In short a number of larger than life charachters / personnas but in the grand scheme of tens of thousands of City fans its a tiny ratio.
I know people who have stopped going but they had stopped going / didnt go much last season as well.

brickyblue wrote:I think it is fair to say that lots of people dont mind about the Red kit but lots of people do care and would if given a choice change back to blue.
From my point of view I still have my season tickets and I still go to every home game but it is fair to say I am still passionate about my club but not as passionate as before when we were Blue.
Whats happening at the club on the pitch is fantastic but for me the club have us over a barrel what I mean is if you dont like or agree with the colour change then most fans will still go to games because CCFC is like a drug its addictive and when you have been going for years how can you just stop ?
For me if we were in this position in Blue it would be perfect the Red kit does tarnish it a lot for me and I am still very angry that he changed the kit and its disrespectful as a supporting fan.
The anger will never go away for me but we must somehow learn to respect each other difference of opinion regarding the colour of the kit.But if Tan had left things alone like all the other chairman did for the last 100 years then we wouldnt be talking about this now would we.
Tan did it and split the fans that for me is the only thing so far he has achieved at City so far.
The big question for me is WHY did he do it ,lots said I will go with it for the money so where is the money of the pitch what has he done where is the investment why havent Langston been payed etc.So we came back to WHY did he re brand us and how have we benefited from it .The answer is we havent benefited so why did he change us ?Thats what I dont get
We as fans have to be together but how? it was always going to slit opinion that to me is all we have achieved from the re brand

So it is evident that there is a blue camp and a red camp call this what you like but theres no getting away from it.
A football club should be as one and most of the time we are one .I sit by and no people in both camps but when you score or need to get behind the team we are one but you sit back and take a look around and talk to people we are split like it or not.
There is no middle ground you are blue or red and people have very strong opinions for both camps its fact.
I do believe we will be blue again one day when Tan goes .Cant wait.

You really are slow aren't you, read my post, other than those who's names are on the boards, now surely TLG falls into that category, in all honesty though, of the few others most are anonymous and faceless posters. And in truth, I only became aware of TLG in recent years because of his internet involvement, and the later on putting his name to his face at a few meetings etc.

You don't understand do you, but you must be the only one, I will write it slowly. I DO KNOW TLG, HE IS ONE OF THE ONES I REFER TO AS ON HERE. I DO KNOW HIM I HAVE MET HIM AND HE IS ONE OF THE NAMES ON HERE, WHAT I SAID AND YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN'T SEE IT IS THAT OTHER THAN THOSE WHO'S NAMES ARE ON HERE, I HAVEN'T COME ACROSS OR KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS STOPPED GOING BECAUSE OF THE REBRAND, IT'S QUITE EASY AND BASIC.
I think you may be making yourself look a bit stupid regarding this point, you must be the only one missing what I was getting at.

Did you not read the "Other than the names you read in here" bit? Or did you conveniently ignore it.
I would suggest TLG comes under that bracket and I dont care what TLG says he will be full of regret he is missing this season. You dont have Cardiff City in your blood like he does and not miss the football, making a stand or not.
You on the other hand you cant miss something you never really had in the first place.
