Feel it's a bit light eight in the middle and would probably get overrun but if we stuck to the bore the team to sleep Swansea style then i think it'd be ok.

Otherwise Mutch for Britton

nah.i like mutch and would have him at blues tomorrow the only problem is he is the dot cotton of the championship.always something wrong with him  if he could stay fit then he is/can be a very decent player.britton is proven prem class now.

Britton works very well in Swansea's system. Take him out of that system and he would struggle which is why if we weren't playing they're passing game he wouldn't get into the team.

fair point but as you are joining forces with the jacks :D then you will obviously go into the highest league.so that means adapting to the prem style of swansea as it,s proven.so whitts gets to carry leons boots

Nah we've rebranded once. Don't fancy doing that again :D

Apart from bellamy there is no player that pushes for a first team slot.
Think witts and noon get on the bench and possible starts but defence im sory your lot dont get a sniff at a start and same goes for your keeper.
Not sure maynard as he aint proved him self.

Can someone please explain how the Bellamy of this season, who according to a number of comments on here has been a big disappointment, is being selected ahead of Routledge who has been a revelation this season or Hernandez who from what I've seen of him so far is the classiest player I've ever seen in a Swans shirt?

Because Routledge looks dangerous without any end product, and i can imagine that Cardiff fans have never (or rarely) seen Hernandez play yet to judge. :ayatollah:

Routledge has 4 goals and 6 assists already this season which shows there is plenty of end product. I take your point about Hernandez to an extent but trust me when I say he looks the most gifted player we've ever had. His performance against WBA was the single best individual performance I've seen in my 30 odd years watching the club. For or against.

Good start to the season then from Routledge but i just don't think he's consistent enough with that kind of form. Looked dangerous while he was here in the Championship, and he is more suited that level rather than the Premier League in my opinion. :ayatollah:

As for Hernandez, again, you might be right but i'll judge for myself when i see him play. A few years ago, at Ninian Park, Jordi Gomez played for you against us and to this day i still maintain that his was the joint best performance (along with Dorrans for West Brom) that i've seen from an opposition player against Cardiff, so i'm not biased. :D

CB: Chico
DM: Britton

Something like 53% of our wins have come from when bellamys played. Plus hes more suited for the prem and would be less relied on then currently. Our players always tend to worry about passing to him.

Dont normally comment on Jack threads but just out of interest any jacks think that dyer is better than sinclair (when sinclair was at swansea)

I've always thought Dyer is easily better than Sinclair

Last season there was no comparison, Dyer was head and shoulders above him. The promotion season not so much purely down to the goal contribution from Sinclair.

I must say i dont know much about your team but realy dont think there is 1 who could make our first team.
And before you scream and shout im not having a go or taking the piss, just intrested at how good you thi k your players are.

can i turn the question around. no nastyness meant, when you went up with your squad. how many play in the first team now?

Re: Come on then??

Simple answer is none, they are all so good, you wouldnt get a look in. Seriously though 3/4

Re: Come on then??

Tue Dec 18, 2012 8:27 pm

Being realistic, I would say Hudson, Whitts, Bellamy, Noone and Maynard
would make their squad.

Ben Turner, Gunnarsson and Kimbo are still developing but not far off.

mmm well why ask the question when you have the answer? no point in us saying anyone as you already said no one is good enough? pointless question by pointless person!

Was just wondering on the reaction!
Like i said dont know to much about your team and would say i do like bellamy!but he might start or finish a few, buthe is getting on a bit and would strugle with fittness.
I think(going by your posts)you dont know just how hard the prem is!
Reading went up nd basicly kept the same side!and they are strugling big time.
My point is not only have we stayed there but played some great football and apart from man city first game in the prem we have never looked out of place.
So do you realy think the players you have picked are better then what we have in them position's??i dought it as but its my opinion.
Ps chico gets a lot of flack on this topic,he is out standing with the ball on the ground coming forward and solid in defence(a bit short for high balls)but class on the ball and getting stronger by the game.
Cant be bad as barca were intrested in him under pep .

interesting. i recall simillar talk when swansea came up and joined us in the championship. i didnt know the names of barely any of their team then. we all said none would get into a ccfc team. the reality was that several would have got in as they went on to better things than many of our so called stars at the time. we shall see next year hopefully hey. in the meantime let them have their little fantasies. they need it down there.
