More hyperbole. No one has been brainwashed at all. People are just open minded and can see your underlying motives for your views. As far as i'm concerned, as long as someone doesn't break the law or harm others they should be free to live where they like, next to who they like, do what they want, etc.
Why do you care so much? Multiculturalism has worked fine. Now if you are on about assimilation then yes, of course it has failed. People won't just drop their values. That will never happen.
Saudi. You said you could move anywhere in the World quite happily and abide by their rules.
Do you think its wrong they ban Christianity??
Yes of course it is wrong but you have to understand they are not a democratic country like the UK. Knowing that it is not a democratic state then I would abide by the rules, if I chose to move there.

my view is simple, a certain level of immigration is positive, you want skilled people to fill the jobs that cant be filled by the domestic labour supply. what you dont want is an open door policy where hundreds of thousands are let in and have the right to claim various benefits, and those who dont agree with the current policy to be branded 'racists'.

Pretty much all I've said on this thread is that there are OBVIOUSLY enclaves/communities

Not a computer expert at all. You try to force your opinions on people and assume that they've been fed spin by Labour and the left dominated media outlets yet are unable to accept that they've come to those conclusions on their own. If you want to be a bitter old man that wants to cut people off from Britain then go ahead and continue with that attitude. Quite frankly, as long as people respect one another I do not give a crap what nationality, race or gender someone is.
You love to spout all this life experience fair play. You have done a lot in your life but that doesn't mean you are always right and you just don't like being told by someone younger then play the age card to try and prove you are right in your ways of bigotry. Then as soon as someone challenges your views they are from the loony left.
Zuckerberg was less than half your age when he founded Facebook using a technology that far surpasses your level of intellect so the age card really is laughable.

multiculturalism doesnt work everybody would like it to work, they like the principal of the idea but dont like putting that principal into a working ethic. Why? because people like to label themselves and you cant do anything about it.
This country is famous for its natural segregation with its class system, long before immigration was a problem. For better or worse this country likes the us v them scenario.
Why arent we all just called British? because we like to segregate ourselves Welsh, English, Scottish and Irish.
Its not racist, its not ignorant people like to be around their own kind be it whether your a upper class white public school educated man or a black african working class poorly educated man.
Fear also has its part to play people like the status quo, you start messing around with that people will leave. Take Heaton in Bradford for every 1 Muslim family who moved in 3 white families moved out. Why fear, fear that the price of your house will drop, fear that your quiet life will change.
Everybody likes the idea of multiculturalism, as long as they are not the ones who have to deal with it. Same principle that everybody likes the idea of green energy but nobody wants a wind farm spoiling their view.
As for your education argument neither of you is right neither of you are wrong. An academic education will give you all the theory with none of the practical knowledge, A real world education will give you all the practical knowledge with none of the theory.
Ill give you an example, understanding the law and statistics of why and how you get mugged in the country will not give you adequate defences against actually being mugged. A real world education will give you the correct defences against a mugging but not necessarily the theory of why muggings take place.
