Yeah, I'll give him a clap. He did well to begin with but he did have a shelf life and he overstayed his welcome here by a couple of seasons. That's the same with most managers though.

As for Bothroyd, the bloke didn't really have any respect for the club. He was a class player, when he wanted to be, but I don't think he'd be losing any sleep if he wasn't applauded by Cardiff fans so I won't be applauding him but I won't be booing him either.

Ain't it amazing Bothroyd is not well thought of with most City fans but out of all his clubs he treated ours the best in Jays world. Very sad because I do feel we only ever saw a fraction of what he was capable of. In fact no one saw a fraction of how good he could of been. I won't boo Jones but I won't sing his name either. As for Jay after his England call up he didn't want to play for us so put zero effort in. For that a dogs life is deserved

i for one was glad to see him gone in the end but he is still one of the greatest managers cardiff city have ever had ... we came within a whisker of winning the fa cup and promotion to the premier league, so for me he deserves a great reception from us supporters! .......... how will you be on the day?

By the end of his reign and the collapse in play offs I wanted him out. However he deserves a round of applause for him helping him push the club on. I never really took to DJ due to his demeaner and not really praising the fans or acknoldging them, the fall out with the press etc, never took to him in the same way say Eddie May or indeed Malky now saluting fans, punching the air clapping players off. But.......He got us to the cup final and certainly elevated the status of the club and for that we should be grateful.

Rem dont welcome him to much as we dont want him to feel at home, we need another win.

He took us to an FA Cup Final and Play-off final. He may have lost the dressing room in his last season he has generally come a far way from what we were before he came. A round of applause before and after the game
