Well done guys, good win for you lot. Your U21 side does look a lot better than ours.

In fairness results at under 21/youth level are not the be all and end all. Whilst you want to install a winning mentality into teams the purpose of the development teams is to nurture talent and get them playing in a pattern of play that fits the ethos of the 1st team manager.

Still it is a good feeling putting 1 over on the JBs.

Was there tonight, quite a solid performance from Cardiff. I can see why Etien isn't in the first team, his distribution was poor and he's quite a way from being there but he didn't impress me. Declan John was superb at LB and played very calmly, Ben Nugent also played quite well before going off, he played in the CB role and was identical to Ben Turner, was winning everything in the air. Jesse Darko was also a good performer, chasing things, going in for tackles and earning possession and the goal was deserved. I have a lot of praise for Theo Warton tonight, he played absolutely brilliantly, he was playing well in midfield and looks quite a tidy midfielder. All in all a good performance for Cardiff, Swansea rarely tested.
