best post in this thread, coleman was always up against it from the start, he tried to carry on the gary speed way but it doesnt work like that. decides to do it his way and we win. speed had the luxury of having bale one side bellamy the other. colemans just had bale. doomed from the start.

im chuffed for coleman, jack or not, his passion as a player and as a manager puts the biggest majority of this forum to shame.

well done coleman, well done wales!!

So your frustration is what exactly? The manager? Tell me who would you pick instead of the players you mentioned? Good luck with that one! Support your nation and enjoy this rare victory!

Listen boy. I've seen wales over the year overseas and at home. SO don't fkn question my loyalty.

We were the better team tonight - but we've got some duff players.

Maybe not too many better players to come in - but a better manager picks players who are in form and confident - craig davies, von williams are just 2 players who should have started tonight.

we won - plain and simply - because of bale's genius (and a linesmans incompetance) not coz coleman is a fkn tactical genius - we got lucky - and croatia will put 5 on us tuesday -

i'll always be a welsh fan - but hopefully coleman will not be a wales manager for too much longer.

Convenient how you've logged off. So in summary you are just a jack defending a jack with no connection to Cardiff City or its forum. Why I'm even bothering to write that I don't know! See you next time we lose I guess x

Didnt question your loyalty at all  READ! I cant believe holes are still being picked after a great enjoyable win, We have 2 pro football teams and 3 first choice premiership players, and the schools up to the FAW ivory towers are in desparate need of a clearout and rebuilding for the modern game. With that to work with Guardiola and Mourinho would struggle, Coleman out? So who comes in? A Dutchman who has never managed before? CC was not my first choice but a logical choice, brave to take it in the circumstances, and deserves 9-12 months like any manager in any industry, where do people expect us to be? Mental. I'm not a Coleman fan but, how can't we acredit him with tonites performance and victory?!
We r really lacking defensively, and naming Williams as captain will b the defining chapter in colemans demise as Wales captain, simply because he is SHITE!!!!
We were much the better side tonite, and a big positive, the team played for Coleman. I agree, Ramsey is a frustrating player! Coupled with trying too hard, and attempting the "eye of the needle pass". (Or as I like to say,..........He's been Arsenaled)!
Good deserved win though.

sounds like my loyalty is being questioned.

so have *READ* and can read !!

a manager who's fkn ego means he wants to alienate half the welssh support by givin the captaincy to a man who :

- is englsh
- very poor - positioning and bad defending cost us a crucial goal tonight
- by no means is guaranteed to start the next game for wales -

tell me this, lets just say (for example) bellamy was given the job after speed's death, do you think he would have taken wales on this journey of capitulation ....

so lets be grown up, the better welsh players don't like coleman, and the welsh fa dont have the cahonas to do anything about it ........

we will fail this campaign, but more importantly we will fail the next - which is the only chance we will have in a generation to qualify for a finals ....

so be happy with your average - i for one - will always strive for better

good night.

Each to there own opinion.
Exactly what are your professional qualifications in football other than being a fan that give you such a knowledgeable opinion? other than being upset/embarrassed by previous results or maybe disliking that fact that CC is a jack :eh:

Probably why so many clubs/teams, players/officials get pissed off with such knowledgeable people, because they all can do such a better job

Not necessarily. The team was pretty much identical. The fact they were playing well toward the end of speeds tenure doesn't really help Coleman at the start of his.

It's a new regime and a new way of doing things and so far he's done just as we'll as speed did. Fact.

Of course it helps.

Re: Coleman IN!!

As much as I don't like the way Coleman is running things, I would much rather we succeed with him than fail. Bale was the difference though. An idiot can see that. All over the park we were still bland and appalling. The players have to take the blame for that but Coleman, as the manager, also needs to rectify this. Too many players not performing well enough.

Seeing as you brought professional qualifications into it, lets just check CC's record here :

Total Games Managed 325
Won 110
Drawn 89
Lost 126
Win % 33.85

and don't forget this includes a team in the spanish second division, greek second division (!) and coventry.

my beef with coleman is he is not good enough for my country, not that he's a jack.

apathy like yours will see us fail to build on the good work speed started with this group of young players.

btw. your patronising comments/advice were funny........ wish i was as intelligent ......

Re: Coleman IN!!

Sat Oct 13, 2012 8:42 am

Jeez just enjoy the three points!!! Enjoy the wonder goal, enjoy sending those deluded bread heads back home with their heads up their kilts, enjoy revenge for Joe Jordan. How can you want a manager out after THREE competitive games, ridiculous. Has a manager in any sport had to come into a set up in such challenging and eerie circumstances, he and the players were grieving.

All you Coleman outers, who do you think would come in and turn it around? Who, sensibly is there? Give me a name then? They cant sign any players LOL Its the same pool of players with the same issues that you all repeatedly keep bringing up, which are valid points which I agree with but, GROUNDHOG DAY!!! You get it?

He wasnt my first choice as I have said before, but was the logical choice in the circumstances , I also dont involve club bias on such matters when it comes to my country, but he deserves a bit of backing, dont know how he feels when he hears "Gary Speeds barmy army" being chanted, but I was pleased for him last night. Do I think he will turn it round and lead us to glory? No, I dont think so, but will back him until I want him out and that isnt now.

Agree with the English captain bit actually, I hate the grandparents rule in sport, but imagine our squad if there wasnt that ruling!

He's only supporting Coleman because he knows most people on here want him out. He likes people disagreeing with him. It's a bit sad but if he wants to spend his life getting proved wrong by people on a messageboard then more power to him.
