we are now full swing into the season and people are talking specifically about cover defenders. if we know that then so do players agents.

Lots of players would come here and try fight for a place, i sit in the canteen sometimes and get payed while doing f**k all, money talks as we all know :ayatollah:

But part of me is also thinking what the hell is this Slovian like ? Our bench is the Man City of the championship

That's also my thinking, not a dig at MM but he paid 1m plus wages for someone who hasn't been tried so why do people think he will get someone better on loan?

May be Etien Velikonja and Kim Bo-Kyung are already January signings of a sort? By then they should be more used to the Championship and very fresh after playing only bit parts up until then.

As the season takes it toll on some of our players these 2 could effortlessly step in
.

Well its lucky Matt Conolly didnt have that attitude or we would only have 4 senior defenders in the squad.

He come with a positive attitude and belief in his own ability, he waited for his chance, he took his chance.

I think we as fans find it far to easy to say we need this and that but its a lot harder to put a name, price and package together that would get them here.

There are one or two floating about, Kenwyn Jones maybe, what about Charlie Austin, I bet there are a few in the European leagues as well.

Connor Wickham would be a good shout. He knows the league and is out of favour at Sunderland. :ayatollah:

Agree have posted this guy on here before...and is ready to go out on loan -
