That does not matter its still loans as we speak from both partys only one man wants his cash back without the intrest ontop and the other has promised to convert all his loans in to equity if this happens, yes vt has more money than sam everybody knows this but if this is the case and he wants a return on his money then surely the 1st thing he needs to do is f**k sam off to start doing what hes promised to us all or we just carry on rolling on loans forever if not :ayatollah:

Sam has always moved the goalposts. He nearly put us under when he left knowing that the club had to pay the extra or we were hours from destruction.

We still have not got an answer as to why the £10million requirement became £10million PLUS £5million on promotion. The promotion bonus was NEVER mentioned when Sam's wishes hit the press. He is aware that VT could make a mint on promotion and he doesn't want to miss out.

I have slowly moved away from Sam's side on this. It seems his wishes were met and when he moved the goalposts the club moved again but obviously not far enough for Sam.

As for the 7% interest, who in their right mind would loan a company money WITHOUT such a stipulation, especially as others were getting similar. The interest becomes a mute point and is not paid should the loan become equity but if the equity switch is not possible due to not paying off Sam then they have a right to interest just like all the other bloodsuckers.

It is such a mess, the club know a court could judge the loans illegal as a Judge has already said he thinks it will come out that Sam is Langston. So why would the club not go to court? I would assume it is because the club will be then be under investigation by the FA during the period when Sam leant himself money. We will not want fines, point deductions or even relegation, remember Swindon.

It's a friggin' mess with both sides having an upper hand AND being under pressure at the same time. I would think this could run until the close of the loan market in November at the earliest.

One thing i'm noticing now is that for all Sams spin doctoring and tales of
how he loves us all dearly. Everyone is seeing through it. He no longer has
a 'support base' of fans. Just a handful of personal friends who believe
him (or dont know him well enough NOT to believe him)

The tide has turned.

If this isnt sorted soon, any lingering respect the fan base had for Sam will
be gone for ever and i'd cringe at the kind of reception he'd get if he ever
did show his face in the ground (or City) again. It could be embarrassing
for him.

Sad end.

Your on your arse. Struggling. Your mate keeps slipping you a few quid "dont worry

bailiff at the door asking for your mates LOAN back. BIG debt. Your fucked. He

But the thread is about paying off the Langston debt. Trust doesn't come into it. All the offers put to Sam are public knowledge with both sides admitting to their existence. The only mistrust in all this is the change of what Sam would accept which went from £10m to £10m + £5m

Castleblue, on the one hand you say you don't know Sam, and you can't say if you trust him or not, and yet , you don,t know Tan, and yet you say you don,t trust him, bit of a Paradox that.

Thats a contradiction in terms.

You dont 'distrust' Sam cos you dont 'know him'.....

How well do you know Tan??

Serious question though... Did you believe Sam when he said years ago that the money he
was spending was HIS and not a loan, and that "when he left, any debt would leave with him"

I did. Thats MY reason for not trusting him now :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

This still does not cover up the fact we are being hilted up with loans AGAIN no matter who it is sam or vt this is whats going on to this very day. We will have to pay back one way or the other, weather sam said its his money or not. Thats like me saying at last seasons AGM we was told VT would convert the last loan at the time in to equity yet it wasnt done as promised or even to this day. So there no diffrent taffy on the trust issue you mention. When will people realise this. :ayatollah:

He's not REALLY making anyone suffer. He'll be gone soon enough and
debt to equity will happen ;)

Be a waste of time it will, as for your mentioning of carl, annis, gwyn there nowhere to be seen in this thread dont know if you noticed to even put the message across as you put it if they have already not, not that sam listens to them anyway why would he :ayatollah:

Just saying fact does not make it so.

In his judgment, J. Briggs said:

"The Club’s evidence discloses a real prospect that it will be established at trial that Langston’s governing mind and will at all material times was that of a Mr Sam Hammam."

This was summary judgement application, not trial. The actual documents were not seen. But the club argued in pleadings (the club's evidence) that, in a trial, they would show this to be the case. Therefore this was an argument that the application for summary judgement should be turned down. The judge agreed.

The judge did NOT give judgement that SH is Langston. That, my friend, is a fact.
