Happy with this. And anyone stupid enough to think that we won't bring him on in leaps and bounds have very short or selective memories. It's what we do at Swansea and always have.

We're not like QPR who just throw millions and millions at already established players who then go there and rest on their laurels. We prefer to sign hungry players with a point to prove.No-one can argue with that.

Well when we signed him permanantly he was good League 2 back up, now he's good Premier League back up

I agree with 6 bysedd though, Kyle Bartley is more impressive than any of our defenders were last season before they joined us:

Angel Rangel - Spanish Non League
Ashley Williams - Stockport County/League 2 defender
Steve Caulker - One season at Bristol City
Neil Taylor - Non League

Bartley's only 21 and will improve to be a very good defender in the future.

I,ve seen a lot more of bartley than most of you have, (if not on sky, rangers are on scottish tv every week) when he wasn,t injured he could,nt hold down a first team place at rangers, go on one of their forums and ask them what they thought of him.

Re: Kyle Bartley to Swansea

Fri Aug 17, 2012 9:29 am

 but how much are you paying them?

Paying millions doesn't have to mean transfer fees. Didn't you offer Bellamy 70k a week? that's £9 million over 3 years.

Re: Kyle Bartley to Swansea

Fri Aug 17, 2012 9:38 am

You want good players you pay what you have to. We are backed by sensible rich people they are not fools I'm pretty sure they know what their doing.

We will become established PL club building year on year as Swansea become a selling club as we are seeing right now.

New manager who I'm not convinced about at all, losing your best players, bringing in shit, spells one thing to me. Relegation.

:D

Who have they signed that's shit? And barring Allen for a ridiculous. £15m triggered by his contract.... Who have they sold?

It's all well and good having a go at them but let's try and stick to the facts otherwise it's pointless,

Re: Kyle Bartley to Swansea

Fri Aug 17, 2012 9:43 am

Joe Allen arguably their best player SOLD

Scott Sinclair again one of the best in the team if not the best refusing to sing a new contract as he clearly wants out.

Signed an Arsenal reserve player who is shit.

Enough facts for you?

Wages pal, wages.I never mentioned transfer fees. That's where all the money is going at QPR,extortionate wages. Our highest earner last season was on 23k a week and we finished way above you (10pts).You more than likely had 3 or 4 players earning 50k plus. We're a very well run club working within tight margins.

We've lost allen and Sinclair and replaced them with Michu (top scoring MF in La Liga) last season and Pablo Hernandes (Spanish international) winger. We're doing our best for a small to average PL side and should be admired for it,which we are on the whole.

Hope you are right Stan. I'll reserve judgement on them until 10 games have gone. For me they are a bottom 6 club. Over last few years they have been fortunate not to have too many long term injuries. Should Vorm, Taylor or Williams suffer a 3 month long injury they will really struggle. Hopefully though they will have a fully fit squad and go down.

oh right - thanks for the update. I'm sure he'll be very happy in his caravan with some spanish guy who was good at the same time as Vincente. I'm happy with our Premier League signings too, but have I come on your message board to tell you. No, because you couldn't give a f**k, just like I can't about your signings, so please go away.

Only on Saturday here were some comments by your fans on Kyle Bartley:

"BARTLEY NOW THATS A GREAT OMEN IF THERE EVER WAS ONE! ..... SIGN HIM UP MALKY! .... WILSON IS WATCHING OVER US!"

"Yes please, just the type of defender we need, he has pace."

"would be a good signing"

"Would be a great signing"

"Would be a top signing"

Your comments were based on the fact you could sign him on loan for the season and we've signed him permanantly for just £1 million, and now all of a sudden he's crap

You don't seem to have included my comment Gypo !?????/  Please try & be objective for once in your inbred lifetime !

Re: Kyle Bartley to Swansea

We earned £46 million last season from Sky alone.

Not to mention everything else that comes with it, global tv, merchandise, tickets, sponsorships from some of the biggest brands in the world.

I'm pretty sure whatever wages are offered are well covered. Our owners are extremely successful people.

 they arent facts at all. Sinclair was urged to be dropped last year by a large proportion of their fans, he's was awful as he has been for every team that he's played for in the prem.

Allen was not their best player, nowhere near it. He was the one with most potential. He started a quarter of his games on the bench last year,

They since have signed the top goal scoring midfielderin la liga last term, one of the best centre backs in la liga outside the top 2.

They are facts.

I'd imagine your wage bill is close to or exceeding the sky money. There is no way on earth you are operating in the black.

QPR can be an advertising vessel for other interests. The fact your owners are successful has no baring on QPR as a club. A notion many of our fans would do wellto remember.

Stan should stick to worrying about his own club as he hasn't a scooby of what's going on at Swansea.

Re: Kyle Bartley to Swansea

You don't have a clue what our players are earning so makes your argument totally invalid.

You have no access to our books so again more shit.

Those are facts :)

Don't need to worry about us we'll be fine. As for you..... Hmmmmmm

Joe Allen not our best player - sold
Scott Sinclair, our poorest first teamer - sold

Both will be replaced on a fair wage (less than £25k a week, not the £80k a week you've been paying the likes of Joey Barton and Nedum Onouha) by better players for lower fees then they've left for.

Enough facts for you?

Re: Kyle Bartley to Swansea

Fri Aug 17, 2012 10:23 am

If you think Onouha & Barton are on 80k a week you need your head testing.

Do you believe everything you read in the paper lad?

Scott Sinclair you're 'poorest first team player' ?

Okkkk then!

As I say I think you will struggle this year with that manager. Personal opinion.

Re: Kyle Bartley to Swansea

Fri Aug 17, 2012 10:26 am

funny how all of a sudden they are not that good? more to the point i think is whilst cant argue about way club is run what is a problem for you is you are bringing in untried players in a league where you just dont have the time to settle other teams done what you are doing and failed! the 2 players you got from spain top mid scorer ect ect well best will in world la lega isnt that great below barca/madrid , you lot are in denial you are loseing backbone of team and saying they wasnt that good anyway, and bringing in better players??? you cannot be serious!!!!!!!!!!

You don't half talk shite stan, sinclair, was nowhere near the best swans player last season
maybe the season we went up, but last season he was average at best. Dyer, vorm, allen, britton, rangel, taylor, caulker, williams, graham, all had better season's than him and thats a fact.
