His views? On what like the rebrand or something else?

Nothing to do with the re branding - this was last year we are talking about .

The chat i had with Bellers last year was about keeping local talent at Cardiff City, and not letting players like Bale - Giggs - Bellers go to other clubs.

Training grounds - indoors and out... Bellers to be part of the coaching staff in years to come...

There is alot more, but i am not going to post on here,as i said at the time on this forum it's views from a player who VT and TG have asked for his views to get this club to go forward :ayatollah:

Fair enough, I always had this sneaking suspicion that CB was involved/consulted about the rebrand (not just the kit/badge).

Around the time of that interview he made mention of the training facilities at the Vale were 'average' so when the rebranding was first announced I wasn't surprised to see training facilities apart of the investment.

TC, I'm not ITK as oft quoted but still have a few mates back in Wales that played semi pro, some of which were/are coaches "advisers" to Welsh League clubs. Pre Sam, it was a joke as far as Cardiff were concerned with "scouting" but he changed that system. Unfortunately in a small country with small minded lefty's running the show as fiefdom he' was always going to piss off the "Establishment", the Welsh FA. I was told confidentially some time ago about Mr. Bellamay's plans, I've only met him briefly on one occasion, if and it's a big if it all comes off then the future of not only Cardiff City is assured but Wales will qualify for the Brazil World Cup.

The man is like a Brian Clough that can play football.

The same reason Roy Keane never stays in a job very long. He would antagonise the players with his attitude.

Brendon Rodgers confirms this morning that City are in talks with Liverpool over the transfer of Craig Bellamy. First official statement from Liverpool on the matter I think. Deal is obviously very close now!

Rodgers: Bellamy set to leave Liverpool

Welsh forward Craig Bellamy has asked to leave Liverpool to join Championship side Cardiff City, his manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed Wednesday.

"We've been in talks with him and with Cardiff, in terms of a possibility of him going back there," Rodgers told a news conference broadcast by Sky Sports.

"It's not him crying wanting to leave Liverpool, it's more compassionate reasons really."

Rodgers said Bellamy wanted to be with his family who still live in Cardiff. "He's 33 years of age and he's travelled around the country all his life while his family has been based elsewhere," he said.

Bellamy, who represented Britain at the London Olympics scoring once in four matches, has already spent time at Cardiff going on loan in 2010-11 after falling out with management at Manchester City.

He has played for seven clubs, not including loan moves, and previously joined Liverpool in 2006 before signing again on a free transfer in September last year.
