No I would say right!! These people will get quieter and quieter if we are flying this season. BUT they will fill this board up with negative bollocks non stop at the slightest hiccup through the season. Some are itching for it to go wrong....let's wait and see and get behind the lads. :ayatollah:

4/ He would expand the stadium to 35.000. Before we get to the prem Not bothering now unless we make the prem

5/ He said he would leave the stadium blue. Going red next year

So please tell me why are most of you still backing this bare face liar. A lot of us told you what he would do once he got his way with the re brand. But we was called the liars. Why are you blindingly still holding on to his every word. Honrable my Fooking arse.

number 3 nukes the land has been bought well we will see if it turns into a training facility then
number 5 seats not being changed
. We will see Steve we really will

nukes the planning permission applied for was for the new training facility.

Most fans are aware that all of the above will not happen overnight. I also believe most fans knew there was no way VT was going to pay Sam/Langstone by 31st July. VT is going to play hardball and make Sam wait for his money and get a better deal. Sam is the one ringing everyone and setting deadlines in the media because he is panicing.

VT can wait until 2016, if need be. If we get promoted VT can still do a deal with Sam. The risk for us as fans is if we don't get promoted, what will VT do. There is no way on this planet that VT will pay Sam £36M in 2016 if we are the Championship. The fear is if that happens in 2016 we will be todays Pompey.

Then we will have plenty to moan about, like why have'nt the debt been converted to Equity, or wheres our new training ground.

VT can wait until 2016?,the club statement clearly states the rebranding will depend on Langstone being sorted.

Re: Totally beyond me

altho it is impatient to say these things should have happened in 3 months, at least something should have started by now...

but why I am not surprised? I doubt the 'promises' will be kept, they lied to us before, they will lie to us again, so I dont believe anything of TG/VT until its done, built and I can see it.

I can't believe some of nonsense on here. Having said that yes I can as it's been said time and time again. The Langstone debt is being negotiated so let the business men get on with it. The debt to equity will follow in due course but in the meantime it makes no difference to the running of the club. If we don't spend money on the stadium and / or the training facility then perhaps there will be more money for developing the squad?

VT never gave a timetable for sorting the finances out so patience required. judge VT once the season is over, not before it's even begun.

Not dreaming about anything, just prepared to wait and see instead of making my mind up before the season has even started. Did you honestly think everything was going to be sorted in a couple of months? I think your dreamer tag may apply to you after all

Re: Totally beyond me

Tue Jul 31, 2012 10:44 pm

I have to agree with you nukes the club is accepting all the changes for nothing. The debt with Langston will not be sorted this season source - Alan whiteley. The club have only set aside £8 million to settle the Langston debt this season if settled any higher than this would come out of Malkys transfer budget. Langston want £15 million Alan has not advised how this amount is to be paid but annis/carl have said £10million up front and £5 million on promotion. Malky has stated publicly that his budget this season will not be affected.

Alan advised me that Langston have moved the goal posts again!!!!! VT Knows that the goal posts are being moved and a deal is not going to be realistically done any time soon so why make these claims about turning debt to equity and that the £100 million investment is subject to changing the colour and also will not be made until the debt is sorted. So if the debt is not going to be sorted and VT knows this then we have been conned into our loss of identity.

As for the £100 million investment I have asked Alan how this money will be invested several times and met with silence!!!

All that will happen this season is the debt will increase similar to Portsmouth before they eventually stopped receiving further financial backing and went bust, unless we get promoted this season next at best we will follow Portsmouth and go bust!!!!

Can VT guarantee promotion the answer is no.

It's not patience we need but a bloody miracle!!!!!! it's time for most you lot to wake up and smell the coffee!!!

Completely understand your concerns but feel we are doomed without the Malaysian investment so I'm prepared to wait and see how it unfolds and let the business men do what they do best. It's not a question of waking up, more that we are in a hell of a tough position but I believe VT will come good. I'll judge him on results on and off the pitch but not before giving him the time he needs. If I'm wrong I'll be eating humble pie and be the first to admit it. If I'm right then we all win :ayatollah:

we cannot pull the blinkers over our eyes and think everyting is ok..... its not, this is a reality of how things are, we really must get these debts sorted and there is def alot of business to be done sooner rather than later... vt didnt say done within days however he did say " we are investing a cash injection of 35mil to meet financial obligations from now until may 2013" he also said of this amount 10 million has been earmarked to settle the langston debt which if accepted will go a long way to cleaning up the balance sheet"

vt stated " that doing this will give the club the best economic stability for the SHORT TERM.... to sit and wait for promotion would make little sense, we must begin the hard work NOW which will serve us best in the long run"...

 With so many financial experts within this messageboard, how come all of you are not millionaires and have bought the club yourselves ? People with lot's of money do not get it by chance (maybe lottery winners aside) and will always make money, i do believe that will be the case here with VT and his team, and it will all be sorted when it is right for them, that is why they pay lots of money to people who know when that time is, NOT JUST SPECULATE
