Dear God.

Bellers will bring 4000 extra fans through gates (80-100,000 over season) plus replica shirts etc. His signing will be worth 2 million to club which covers his wages. He is also a quality player who has the potential to get us up-we should have gone up 2 years ago but had the bottler in charge. Malky is not a bottler.

Utter Rubbish.

I will quote you on this. He has actually correct. We played Doncaster Rovers in our 3rd league game of the season and we usually pull in roughly about 20,000 for a normal fixture on a saturday 3pm and we managed to pull in if my mind is correct just over 24,000 fans. Thats basically nearly full and only 2,000 off our full attendance. Bellamys return made every home league game reach over 20,000. The shirts with his name on the back was massive.

That was the new stadium factor.

You make me laugh. You cling to this cva argument as its not technically admin yet the underlying point is that you didn't pay your debts. Dress it up however you want but the result was the same. And no it's not the same as the Langston debt since it relates to money sam spent whilst owner of the club and even then he has a choice as to what figure he will settle for.. It's like educating pork on here sometimes :ayatollah:

Our debt related to money our previous owners spent while owners of the club. It's not rocket science, really.

But not debt owed to themselves. You're being a bit silly now as you've come on here and yet again had a spanking. Give it up and try to salvage some credibility

CVA and Administration are the same thing they are both legal processes to provide moratorium period to stop creditors pushing for their money. The only real difference is that a CVA is open to small companies with a turnover of less than about £8million as it is believed they could not afford the cost of administration. However you dress it up it's administration.

Anyway Bellamy's coming. :ayatollah:

Do me a favour, grow up and try and have a decent conversation without the bollocks is it.

So you're saying that Hammam is Langston and that he lied in court?

If you'd like to see exactly how much we really owed to local companies, it is available on the companies house website. If you bother, you'll see it was actually more like £100k than £1.5m.

What's your current debt again while languishing in the lower leagues?

Ha ha getting hot under the collar are we? You lose the argument so I need to grow up? Pathetic. I've tried many times with you but you go on and on about how you didn't go into admin. And why would I look at your accounts when I couldn't care less about the details, the fact you failed to pay your debts is enough for me to know you can't climb onto that morale high horse your so desperate to get on.
And for what it's worth I believe Sam is Langston to all intents and purposes.

Going back to the start of this thread and forgetting the bi-monthly Swansea accounts meeting....

I would love Bellers back and it is definately a move which would maybe soften up some fans after recents events but NJ73 actually makes sense.

35k is a VERY large wage - even a hometown hero (a crocked one at that).

We need a clause which says it cuts in half if he fails to get us promotion to safeguard against failure and any losses we may incure in the following seasons.

I figured that the Malaysians were in the business of streamlining and cutting off any dead wood with high wages rather than throwing money at our problems and i'm not sure 35k a week is their style.

NJ73 - A lot of our fianancial problems come from Dave Jones handing out massive wages left right and centre and i'm certain Malky is more sensible in his negotiating. I would like to think that the whole setup has changed and our business model will be better from now on.

Personally I'd say no thanks to Bellamy. Angry man unbelievably is right on this.
We weren't good enough for him last season. Now, a year on, when he has even less
Chance of getting a game at Liverpool cos of his age/knee.. He wants us to fund
His pension?... Last time he came his reasons were honorable, it was two years
Ago after a brilliant season at Man City. This time? It's leaving a bit of a bad
Taste to be honest.

Go get a young hungry player instead Malky

Because none of us know how it would be funded or what the overall player budget is. You either put your faith in the Malaysians or you don't I suppose.

NJ73 you really are thick you quoted "Wrong. The taxman was paid in full as in those days he was classed as a preferred creditor. A position that has since changed"
In those days the taxman was NOT considered a preferred ( secure first line creditor not preferred) and is still not considered to be one, although they have tried on numerous occasions to get the rule overturned, they have not done so, they are now appealing to the house of lords.
So you did not pay the taxman or any of your creditors anything more than 5p in the pound, not 10p as you stated, you really know shit about your club, perhaps if you spent more time studying your club, instead of clogging this board with shit you know nothing about, then perhaps you would learn something, I doubt it though. Now f**k of

I'd stop digging now Gov as NJ73 is right as Swansea City owed the taxman £364K, mainly VAT, and that was repaid as the taxmax was a secured creditor and the new owners agreed a schedule with the revenue to repay it.In those days the revenue held secured creditor status otherwise no doubt they would have been in with the 5p in the £ unsecured creditors. The football creditors rule removing the taxmans secured creditor status came into force in September 2003 after the jacks came out of administration.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/1892909.stm

Your other comments on clogging the board with shit are however 100% accurate. In my opinion. ;)

I agree when it comes to the legal status of football clubs prior to September 2003 I'm no expert but it is 100% factual that in the Swansea City administration, the taxman, was treated as a secured creditor and got ALL of the £364k owing to them and not the reduced 5p in the £ of the unsecured creditors.

The increased crowds for the 2010/11 would have been far more down to season tickets sold on the back of a play off final and the expected Premier League football rather than any impact Bellamy had. Obviously he would have had some impact, but nowhere near what you are suggesting.
