I have got no gripe with those who are oppossed to the rebrand forming an action group with a view to changing back, indeed that is my long term goal to see the Blue shirts return.

However, this 'menu' thing can't have anything in it that would hurt the club or supporters who openly embrace the change. I would also add that before this goes anywhere, the group will have to explain an alternative plan to finance the club which doesn't involve administration.
Im all for investment but I still dont understand at all how changing the colour and badge will make things any different in the short term tbh , VT has a long term plan for this move but he and only he knows what it is at the mo !

A good question would be, "why do we need to change to red?"

Why do we need to change to red?? simple £100 million and survival of this football club.

Come on, Listen I am a director of a multi-million pound organisation, if someone came along and bought my shares for lets say, £100 million, I couldnt give a rats ass about what they did with it, call it what ever they like.

The problem is with fans is they dont understand the business side of why Tan is doing what he is doing. However, they do care about is the history and the nature of the football club.

Im not attempting to change or convert anyone, I think the club needs to do that by promoting the changes and going ahead with the changes they have advised us all of.

However its really time to move on, its been over 3 weeks sicne the club announced the chnages, but still fans are against it all.

What business side, its been changed on a whim........

As for the new training ground they mentioned - they are looking at staying at the vale now

The stadium expansion - suddenly thats a feasibility study, wont happen

We are a good championship club with good players and a great new stadium, someone would buy us if Tan walked.

If some are willing to give our 104 history up in 3 weeks then thats their cross to bare.

£100m you say, thats a nice figure they plucked out, they even added £2.2m contingency funs just to round it up.

Shiny pennies my friend, shiny pennies :)

We are a good championship club with good players and a great new stadium, someone would buy us if Tan walked.

I was interested til I read that, Craig this is not personal mate, but you need to Look at Rangers to answer that question. Who in there right mind would spend £70-£100 million on a championship club???? You could by Everton for about the same.

Thats why we have to see where this takes us, if he makes a huge mistake and the club bombs, then so be bit. As you say another billionaire will buy him out and this all starts again..... In the real world this wont happen and every anti-red knows this.

Rangers owed HMRC ridiculous amounts, thats where the CVA failed. We owe HMRC nothing.

If we took a 10 point hit and got our club and badge back then so be it.

So what you are saying is tough luck to local family businesses who will not get paid if we take addmin

I will Andy and your right, its up to us what we want to do, those that want to wear Red and accept the Brains Beer badge is up to them, It was not to late to stick with our original Badge and thats a fact.No one will change my mind, I read the Echo today in Cafe and saw the new strip in it, then it really hit home, how bad this new kit is. thats not my Cardiff City, it hurt me looking at it and thats how I feel, disgusted and we looked like a FRANCHISED CLUB.

Cardiff City playing in red shirts with a dragon beer mat for a badge is embarrassing as far as I'm concerned.

A perfect theme song for us next season http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4QGPWLY-EM

Yo listen up here's a story
About a little guy that lives in a blue world
And all day and all night and everything he sees
Is just blue like him inside and outside
Blue is his house with a blue little window
And a blue corvette
And everything is blue for him and hisself
And everybody around
Cos he ain't got nobody to listen to

I'm blue da ba dee da ba die...

I have a blue house with a blue window.
Blue is the colour of all that I wear.
Blue are the streets and all the trees are too.
I have a girlfriend and she is so blue.
Blue are the people here that walk around,
Blue like my corvette, it's standing outside.
Blue are the words I say and what I think.
Blue are the feelings that live inside me.

I'm blue da ba dee da ba die...

I have a blue house with a blue window.
Blue is the colour of all that I wear.
Blue are the streets and all the trees are too.

Blue are the feelings that live inside me.

I'm blue da ba dee da ba die...

Inside and outside blue his house
With the blue little window and a blue corvette
And everything is blue for him and hisself

Thats rite daz its time to stand up and be counted for what we believe in, even the best of malaysian fans can now see what was put to them to start out with about the rebrand and what we as fans was supposed to be geting in return, even this has turned in to nothing but another loan now like the last two season, i for one couldnt give a shit if VT converted all his coin in to equity today and payed everything off which was supposed to be the whole idea of the rebrand before anything else. Its about are colour/badge for me nothing else but bullshit after bullshit comming from the malaysians is cringeworthy

What proposals did the group bring to the table to keep the club going if VT decided enough was enough and he walked away tomorrow? Hand on heart every Cardiff fan would prefer to play in blue and keep our old crest. But until someone stumps up enough money to buy CCFC then the shots will be called by a very successful businessman who is also a billionaire. The guy has a plan and a vision and everybody who criticises the changes could do so more constructively by suggesting money saving or money making solutions. I respect everyones opinions pro blue or red but I would like to see the criticism being constructive and solutions presented rather than just moaning about things. As for someone saying in an earlier post "someone would want to buy us" where were all these people when the club was almost on its knees and having transfer embargos placed on us and the Hmrc close to putting winding up orders on us? Hope everyone gets behind the club come August 18th and we as fans are together 100% for the good of CARDIFF CITY FC :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I think a number of fans are starting to believe this. Think a couple of years down the line VT could have a Premier League side (ranking in the proceeds of the new TV deal), with a 35-40,000 seat stadium, a listed asset (trainning ground), debt free, live Asian TV deals and a top rated UEFA Licence as far as the FFP rules are concerned.

All this for £100m so he sells to a Chinese consortium for £200m which they consider a bargin?

Of course this doesn't really explain why we need red shirts, unless he has a prospective buyer who would prefer red.

BB’77 you have to give VT & TG time to implement their plans. You are absolutely correct the investment is in the form of loans for now, but the plan is to eventually turn those loans into equity.

Just because this hasn't happen as quickly as you would have liked that doesn't mean it won't happen and of course the club will gain from this investment.

I can't explain why the Blue shirts had to go. But that was a condition for the investment and without it the club would be in dire straits. You can say all you want that it won't but if VT doesn't put the cash in we will be back to the bad old days of 2 years ago when they weren't here. To say different is complete delusion and I for one would never play Russian Roulette with the clubs future.

I have openly welcomed the formation of your lobbying group and I think it is a good idea, providing you have a credible plan and take a non-confrontational approach.

actually not arguing against campaign, i dont want red like all of us but hey i dont care what colour we wear but thats me! cardiff city i support not blue shirt! if their is a change red to blue campaign good free speech ect ect, like said before will have to beg to differ on financial side as to be honest can argue either side i dont have clue what vt has in his mind but surely he knows what hes doing thats the point! the other thing is no one against branding comes up with alternative other than to say rather be in x div as long as in blue? people think knight in armour will come and pay off 40mil for free! thats not anser is it? maybe should gone into admin years ago! got rid sam ect start afresh but we are where we are for better or worse looks like vt here for several years to come. unless that knight comes along or he gets fed up with the back biting and pulls plug!
