They should have let us go bust after the playoff final defeat 2 years ago. Why waste 40 million? Turn it into equity is it? Debt free too....we don't deserve it.
A reflection of so called modern football. Could man city operate with their wage bill without the Arab cash? Doubt it. Do they deserve it? It's a case of if you can't beat them, join them.
Rubbish. They have managed to retain their identity and have had some success, we have just sold out our identity.
They bought success. The point was about modern football and what it leads to, like our situation. So if you got off your high horse for a second you will see that it wasn't praising our move but maybe trying to explain it

Rubbish again. They may have bought success but it was not at the expence of a colour or badge change so its not a reflection of modern football at all.

True but the point is success today usually comes at a price. In our case the investors wanted the change and money talks in this age. Call it a sell out if you want but why slag off fellow fans when they were not involved in the decision at any stage.

Success does not come with a price. Man City still have not sold out. Chelsea sill have not sold out. All these clubs have retained their colours and dignity and still had success. We have nothing but have sold everything.

Again the point is they would not have done it without big backers. It's just that ours wants the change. I don't believe we have sold everything. Still Cardiff city, still the bluebirds, still play at the CCS. The kit is something that could well change back easy enough but nothing will be achieved by in fighting and slagging each other off.
Are you still going to support Cardiff city?

Well that and not buy any red merchandise, and come up with a brilliant song that will reverberate across Cardiff and the whole of Wales

Quick question.
If you were to get promoted next season playing in a red kit, new badge, red seats etc will the Malaysians be vindicated in there decision & would those vehemently opposed to the changes happily celebrate the success & also acknowledge the decision made was the right one for CCFC?
Obviously you may not go up & that imo would cause massive problems for the owners but if you did please answer above question.
Thanks.
Stan.

Just read the news this morning on BBC and to be frank it is only what I expected, we had the same with Briatore, he wanted everyone to back him or he would threaten to take his investment away and let the club die, and god knows how many times we were told that he saved us from bankruptcy. But this is what super rich owners can be like, if they don't get their way they threaten to throw their toys out of the pram. And your Malaysians are no different. One word can describe them and that is BULLIES. Sadly most will fall for their tactics but the fact is that you can make a stand. Stop buying the season tickets, don't buy the shirts, protest. 25,000 Cardiff City supporters will have more clout than a bunch of Malaysians who will try and sell your club in the Malaysian markets (still mainly supporting Liverpool, ManUre, Chel*** (blue kit, doesn't do them any harm), Arsenal etc.
Cardiff City will always be Cardiff City, of they think that the club can compete with the likes of the above then they really are deluded, at best what would beckon is a team in the mid to lower half of the PL, and believe me it will cost them much more than £1million a month to cover losses then.
For me, today the real Cardiff City has died and has been replaced by an imposter. God rest the soul of Cardiff City.

No. I'd rather be relegated in Blue than promoted as a Red ( with black wash) Dragon.

The world keeps turning and modern football will continue to evolve due to global interest and the money involved. Are Cardiff city able to stop or reverse these developments on their own when its a global game? I cant say i like it but recognise that you either embrace change and move with the times or whither away. Shame you'll be throwing in the towel in terms of supporting the club but it's your view so good luck to you in your search for utopian football

Thank you, did 5,500 hits since Wednesday night in 39 countries on 50+ fans messageboards. Didn't quite expect that, seems the european fans are more passionate about this whole shaming affair than half our fanbase. Which is just sad, really.

The red dragons comment you can keep, because whilst it all truly saddens me to see it happen to our club, it's also such a laughable attempt at marketing too. Vile. Not my club. etc.
