Cardiff being known for rugby and Swansea for football is factually and historically inaccurate.
If anything, Cardiff is known more for both (bigger, better city) but if you have to put a swing on it, the balls of those in West Wales have always been more oddly shaped than those in the East...

I'm no Clark Carlisle, but I can't understand where all this Swansea being a global club nonsense has come from
Last time I checked they were still treading water around low-mid table with other world football heavyweights Norwich, Stoke and Wigan. They aren't playing in any sort of overseas competition. They havent even played in a major cup final, let alone won a trophy.
Wheras a small, humble club just down the road boast an international group of owners and sponsorship, regular media coverage in another continent, played in 2 (count them) major domestic trophy finals in RECENT years which were watched by MILLIONS across the PLANET.
Now, I don't consider CCFC a superpower in world football, but if Swansea are global, we must be in another f*cking universe.

Cardiff is known as a football city as we sucessfully hosted the FA Cup Final from 2001 - 2006 , you wouldn't know about that as you never been in a major cup final
