We have had the atmosphere of the old Nina at a few games. Cardiff Vs QPR in CC Stadium was utterly electric for the whole game, but then again the Team played great football that day and fans had excitement to watch and cheer . That's the difference , we lack excitement at the mo and the football is as dull as dishwater to watch.

I expected so much better from Malky , but its seems we've got our very own Alex McLeish in charge . Dire boring football and loved playing 1 up front . Great for getting the odd points and sneaking a win, utterly dire to watch for the fans though

Sitting at the stadium kills the atmosphere, the singing from the Canton when in full swing is good, but it dies after a few chants, more like a whimper.

Well done to the Leeds fans who fully took part in the tribute to Eddie May, It's just a shame that we have got to use the away support at the stadium to generate an atmosphere, I believe part of the problem is that when words are involved our supporters aint got a clue, and I will use Men of Harlech as an example, we ruin what is a good anthem and it is Welsh, what do we do with it na na na like a bunch of bloody sheep, pathetic !!

The ingredients were there, we were playing Leeds, a side many of us despise, the chance to confirm a play off position and the opportunity to salute the team and the manager for the achievements of the season, there was also the tributes to Eddie May, yet we can't create a half decent atmosphere.

It baffles the mind how it can be so poor I the stadium with so much riding on it.

Just a straight question, what would Ninian Park have been like, a full house v Leeds,a win guaranteed play offs and last home game of the season with everything to play for ?

It would have rocked , Leeds players who have shat a brick and yes i believe we would already be in play offs

I stood all second half in ninian - it felt great.

Bring back standing before the silence rot completely overhelms us.

The one time i've been to the CCS i thought the atmosphere was disappointing. Not a patch on the old place but it never was going to be.

The one thing you can say about the Liberty is we manage to get it rocking quite easily and often.I do think if you got to the PL then the atmosphere would improve though.Your fans must be sick of life in the championship and struggle to get up for most games.Facing different clubs and big clubs at that will get you all going again.

Just a thought :D

I was in the ninian right next to the away fans and when they are singing worst support we've ever seen i couldn't help but agree. I thought it was appalling in the 1st half and could only hear the Leeds fans all through the half. The 2nd half was a bit better but still poor in my opinion. We can get songs started but it's keeping them goin that is the problem sing it once then everyone fades out need to keep it going constantly like wat happens when we are away..

I disagree mad al.If we'd spent the last 10 yrs in the same league then i'd have to say games would lose their edge. It's good to move about and not stand still.

Don't think the atmosphere was awful but it wasn't brilliant. I've said for ages there is not enough colour or noise at our home games. People are forever posting youtube clips on here of continental fans where the atmosphere is phenomenal. Everyone seems to join in all of the songs and everyone seems to have a flag or a scarf. When you look around our stadium during a game there is very little colour in the crowd. It all looks very drab. We could do so much more to improve things at CCS but it's not going to happen unless we get some sort of committee to come up with ideas for songs/chants. They would need to liaise with the Club who also have a part to play in this eg providing flags/banners. The Club could organise hundreds of school kids/youth groups/dance groups/choirs and the like to go on the pitch before each game waving huge flags and banners while singing City chants. They could fill some of the thousands of empty seats that we have for each game, and during the game they could wave the colours and get the crowd started. We need to make each game more of a spectacle....that's for sure.
