Why would Briatore give it the green light knowing he comes across as a complete prick? Maybe he thinks he done really well?

Was the QPR squad a good team all those years that was underachieving with poor managers/lack of consistency allowed or did Warnock have free reign to make a few changes in the summer?

Personally I think every manager prior to Warnock was to weak to work under people like Briatore. It was clear he was influencing matters on the pitch.

When Gareth Ainsworth was caretaker manager we had Man Utd away in the cup, he said he left his mobile in the dressing room & at half time he checked it & he'd had 46 missed calls from Briatore!! That's a call a minute for f**k sake.

When Bhatia ear marked Warnock as the man to take us up I think it was made very clear pretty quickly that Neil Warnock would absolutely not tolerate any interference from Briatore or anyone else & by all accounts Briatore stayed out of matters & actually admired the fact Warnock would take no bollox from him. Unfortunately towards the end they're relationship turned sour.
