Yeah I remember that day Nukes, didn't the guy that got hit by the machette have one of those big white wooly sweaters?? I remember the sight of him covered in blood. They had a mob waiting for us right at New Street and it kicked off as we made our way out of the station!! And back then the West Ham firm looked a right tasty mob. Also went to Sheff Wed on Dec 17th in early 80's and about 20 of us went up on the train, their boys tried to have a go all afternoon even in the stadium in the seats above the away end... Some pretty naughty days  :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Steve
It was my mate Stephen Kadget who had the machete down the back of his head, actually it was a meat hook, he still has the scars.

Annis i was right next to him when it happened. It was pitch Black on a staircase just outside Birmingham New Street. As we were about to come off the staircase all i saw was white teeth i kid you not with this great flashing blade in what i guessed to be a Machete, but over 20 years later i find out it was a meat hook :o . But i have never known panic or anything as frightening as that incident. If you asked me how many Zulus i would have no idea, but i know it was more than two as that was the images i remember. Those friggin Zulus wasn't out to give someone a hiding those vicious Bastards was out to kill us. And it wasn't until I got out at the top and saw the state of your mate that i realised that he had been done and i dont think he did either as we both got out at the same time.

payback and all that, given citys rep early 80s/90s??? anyone?? :ayatollah:

Millwall did the Ninian Pub in the Auto windscreen cup.

there were only about 8 of them that night

we'd left them alone and they let loose in the ninian
celtic smashed the ninian too - think they were playing cwmbran in euro match at ninian.

i remember middlesbro came down in the 90's and took over the city centre for a while early doors. there must have been 30 of us at the bottom of westgate street by back of oneils and they (400 plus) were charging down at us - it felt like rourkes drift!!! lucky that the ob blazed in and cut em off by the queens vaults.

we seemed a match for millwall at new den, spurs, w ham etc although Leeds a few years back was hostile as f**k! Weren't they rioting outside for an hour, then city got bored being stuck inside and charged through the stewards and old bill in the stands - - city never left the stadium though!!!!!

birmingham away was the naughtyiest - i think in 90's -they were above and behind us in the top tier - never seen seats being ripped out and thrown upwards before! car park after the game was dodgy and there were people going down left right and centre with all types of missles flying in to us. the train walk was fine though, good mob of city out. I think the ferndale boys bus had some fun that day too.
