Really good article here about how we are ruled by our political leaders. Why is it they will do anything to prevent the british people voting on this issue, it's because they know full well the likelyhood of getting a vote in favour of leaving.

We, Britain, took a massive hit following the end of the First World War financially, the cost in human life can never ever be quantified. You are one lucky male that you were born in this era, 96 to 100 years ago chances are that you would be lying in bits somewhere in Belgium, France, Mesopotamia, Turkey or some other corner of a foreign land.

As to your second point on this one, yes the American Central Bank did lend Britain money to fight the National Socialists of Germany in the form of lend lease. A private banking company that effectively hedged their bets, they also lent money to National Socialist of Germany so a bit of a win win situation. This debt was finally paid by Mrs.Thatcher, not personally or with her husbands money but by prudent budgets by her government. If you want to enlighten your own tiny little mind you could argue that the tax payers of the UK paid the debt to the Central Bank (yes they do call themselves that) for murder of our people. Probably a bit too advanced though Eh?

Yes, very well, the pre Thatcher (and her cronies) days. Very dark days indeed, literally, lights out two to three days per week, was great as a kid I did actually look foward to the days when the country didn't have electricity as some union or other were on strike about some bollocks or other, cos we had candles. OK! I'm 48, rebelled in my youth as we all do, at very early age (my first rebellion I think I was about four, when after dinner, lunch I believe its called now, we all had to go to sleep, I did'nt want to go to sleep, I wanted to stab the posh c**t with this screwdriver I'd been given, my greatgrandfather had to come on many occassions to take me home). Willy has digressed, sorry. I don't think you'll find too many allegiances in europe, most of the folk I've met and it is a lot, don't really give a shit, they just get on with they own lives as best they can, pay the taxes if it really can't be avoided and just chill.

Oh Dear God so wrong on every count . There still billions of oil and gas reserves left in the North Sea for starters no need to worry for another 30 years plus
