Daya like yourself I have also had doubts about the Malaysians for a long while now and finally people are starting to see the light and join our bandwagon which is well and truely moving now. Unfortunately its taken a run of bad results for people to really take a good look at the situation but they have done it and have come to the same conculsion as us.

Whether you like it or not the takeover was a gamble, had we beaten Blackpool that year then they would have been quids in, same with last years playoffs but for me no-one has mentioned my main theory as to why my feelings surrounding them has become stronger in recent weeks and that is Tony Fernandez. I feel that he could also see the gap in the Malaysian market for a Malaysian to own a Premier League club and the moment he brought QPR who were already in the Premier League then he automatically gained pole position in the race for Malaysian interest. It is at this point (mid august) that I think the Malaysians knew that they have lost the game and their interest is lost completely.

Just my theory but I have stuck by it for 2 months now and Ive seen nothing to change my mind on it.

In case you'd not read the match programmes, you'd see that the club have worked pretty well in Malaysia establishing soccer schools - Kevin Cooper being stationed over there. Massive publicity, massive goodwill. In case you'd not been at our games, you'd also sees fairly regularly high ranking Malaysian visitors.

QPR may be in the prem, may be owned by Fernandez but have little to no presence over there and are miles behind us on that score.

But still, given all that ongoing stuff in Malaysia I can clearly see why you believe the Malaysians have allegedly given up.

In the case QPR relegate, we stay down, who has the bigger presence? The answer being the club with the presence in Malaysia. QPR no doubt will take steps to do that, but are well behind us.

If we go up, QPR stay up, again, we're ahead of them over there.

We go up, they relegate, your Prem claim favours us.

That is a poor point Nerd because if you are going to rely on addendances then we would have to then take into account sponsorship which is bound to be a lot higher in London than Cardiff.

Is it necessarily? Plenty of clubs in the London region chasing the same local sponsors. Top 6 clubs aside, the sponsorship pool in Britain is tightening up due to the economy. Which is why so many clubs are now marketing in bigger, untapped regions.

But still, the Malaysians must be shit, have lost all interest, are no doubt pulling out tomorrow. No evidence to suggest that whatsoever, but hey...
