In a nutshell what I'm saying is I don't see that 'blend' you need to get out of this league which in my view is youth, experience, a star player, a tight defence & a top goalkeeper. Those in my opinion are the golden ingredients & I would say you have 2 of those just about, youth & experience. I see you as very stretched squad wise & I just don't see it getting much better than it already is.

Losing players like;

Bothroyd
Bellamy
Chopra
Burke

Are going to affect any team but not replacing them with players half as good as them is a sign that things are not all that well at the club.

Just my take on it mate for what its worth.

Hope you watch QPR Player tomorrow for the highlights Stan. :D ;)

embarrasing for QPR,our current team of mid table strugglers   wouldnt lose 6-0 to anyone never mind an average fulham side.you just need to be thankful youve got a backer with more money than sense as youd be dead certs for the drop otherwise.

Sta, what has Bothroyd 'added' to your squad?? He goes missing for half the game (sitting on his backside looking forlorn at the referee as the game goes on around him for 5 minutes or so) and could potentially score a lot more goals if he was less of a Prima Donna and partook of the game a little more....

Not sour grapes. I always had a go at him for 'giving up' too easily

In a nutshell Jay has been quality.

Plays a thankless task up front on his own battling with Premiership hardened defenders, bringing our midfield into play at every opportunity & wins a lot more balls than I thought he would considering some on here said he wears concrete boots!

If he was more predatory he'd of had 5 goals by now but that's not a worry they will come, I'd be more worried if he never got in goal scoring positions.

#greatsigning

Re: MID TABLE AT BEST FOR CCFC THIS SEASON

To be fair to Stan he is only saying what most of us think and we all know if we could put our strongest team out with no injuries or suspensions for 46 games we would probably make the top 6. However has we have already seen we have very little stength in depth especially up front although to lose 3 strikers so early in the season is unusual to say the least. If we don't strengthen and boost the squad i think we will be top 10 at best and down around 12th at worst.

However what we have got this season is a fantastic work ethic, team spirit and we never know when we are beaten we also have a tactically astute Manager and the performance at Blackpool which was outstanding shows what we are capable of. We need pace in the side which i feel is lacking and so the addition of a pacey but strong striker and a fast wide player is essential plus if we could add a goal scoring midfielder then we will defo be top 6 or even better. What we also have this year which you will not see on any highlights programme is a fantasic bond between Manager, Players and supporters :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

This was something that was sadly lacking last year so we are in with a shout as we chase the Premiership dream but is it everything we want because with the signings that QPR have made i really thought they would stay up this year but then they get thrashed by Fulham who are not exactly one of the top teams in the Premiership :o

What happened Stan (This is a genuine question and i'm not taking the piss because i was genuinely shocked by that result)

The bottom line is Stan, is that it appears that our owners are more focused on our debts than anything else.

Last season, we went for it, but it is time to live up to our long standing debts. Our playing staff however was basically reduced to nothing due to contracts ending, too many loans finishing and the sale of Chopra (which had to happen).

We were 13 players down, and Malky has been allowed so far to bring in 9. We have lost Parkin recently, so we are still -4 on players in contrast to last season.

We are extremely thin on the ground, our large injury list exposes this even more. However Stan, dont underestimate the players we have brought in.

Yes, they are not the household names we did have, but those didnt get us up last year. We have replaced Burke with Conway, and let me tell you, Conway has twice the end product of Burke. Last season, we were very weak in the centre midfield, now this is our strongest area. Gunnarson, Kiss - You wont find two better holding midfielders in this league. And then we have Whitts who can pull the strings. Also Joe Ralls who scored at Hull looks a real prospect. Upfront however is a different story. Miller and Earnie clearly arnt in the same league as Bellamy, Bothroyd and Chopra. However, we seem to have a couple of gems for the future in Gestede and Mason.

At the back, our defence is, I would say reasonable. However we have Ben Turner who really impressed at this level last season for Coventry. He will come in now he is fit.

A winger with quality and pace, a striker are a must for us to get in on loan. But will we?

In my opinion, it seems for this season Malky has had the backing to create foundations and a base ready for next season. Next season will be the push for promotion where Malky's reign is concernced. He is doing a top, top job so far taking things into all consideration, and has shown his tactical knowledge by outdoing the likes of Ian Holloway, Adkins etc so far. I remember him taking your boys to school at Loftus Road last season, so the futures bright for us.

Im thinking we will finish 9th this year, but with a few good loan signings we can get that 6th place. I respect your posts on here, but you may be jumping the gun a little on this one, its early days.

I think 24 hours is long enough for most of you to have digested that defeat at Hull,im going to leave this post open ended, which means i will not be making any comments, only you,if you want to of course, just remember we have played our 10th game, and most manages would say, judge us after 10,so feel free, finely i would ask all who take the trouble to record their views, will be respected and not slagged of,when i hopefully gather enough feedback i will keep this post, and reproduce it at the end of the season,i do ask you make your comments known, and as far as im concerned i will not sit in judgment

Fair play lads. Lovely to know you're all thinking of me. I feel very wanted here :D

Ok firstly. Fulham.

Awful team performance, wrong starting XI, poor tactics & even worse substitutions. From the off it was clear Fulham were bang up for this one & we were not. What can I say? One of them days. If we'd have lost 1-0 or 20-0 I'd have said the same we were shit & deserved everything we got-nothing.

You lads need to remember a couple pf quick things though.

1) We are in the Premiership, where are you? :ayatollah:

2) Fulham are an established Premier League side so no shame in losing to them.

3) We are 11th in the table above some of the Premierships big guns. Hardly enough to slit our wrists over!

Results like this were always gonna happen & for us it did on Sunday. I've seen enough in the last 3 games previous to Fulham to show me we will be more than alright this season.

Also worth remembering the original post is still spot on imo.

You don't have enough quality or quantity & as it stands won't be making a challenge for promotion.

Not this year lads I'm sorry to say.

6-0 or not we got the same amount of points as you this weekend

Posted this thread in October & my prediction of finishing 13th looks like it could become reality.

MM not getting backed in January was absolutely criminal & has fluffed your chances for another year imo.

Couple of quick questions;

1) What are you actually playing like?

2) What are MM's tactics & does he make the right substitutions & put out the strongest XI every week?

3) Why is Earnshaw not playing?

4) Are the fans getting on the manager or boards back?

5) Do you see yourselves making a late push?

I stand by my original post in that you don't have enough strength in depth or a natural leader or star player to drive you on.

One bright note though boys you'll get to play us again next season as we are f*cking shite! :D

Annis I keep reading on here about rebuilding, how long do you need? We had the same nonsense until we got a manager who made sure we had the right players to take us up & as I've stated many times when last January he brought in Routledge, Shittu, Ishmael Miller & Pascal Chimbonda it really gave us that final push to get us up why have you not done that???

Stan, I'm with you, do you really believe I ever believed the current board are rebuilding. We had our chances and were right up there, in Oct/Nov/Jan we should of strengthened, we never, for 4/5 years come January, us fans are always bullshitted too.
