Mackay in many ways would be a perfect manager (for me) He is not
afraid to give youngsters a go, but mixes old and young pretty well.
This would mean we could expect to see exciting young talents from
the lower divisions here, and he's obviously got a very good eye for
it! IF he comes, it will likely be because Cardiff City are determined
that the youth of Wales are snapped up and given a chance here, and
no longer palmed off cos people just cannot be arsed.

On the other hand, if its Hughton... he knows the score, knows how
to get out of this division, knows how to beat the top teams in the
Premiership.

Before people make Hughton/Jones comparisons... Remember Wolves
spent a fortune on players to get out of the Championship the second
season he was there... and guess what... they blew it with ten games
to go after being 11 points clear of West Brom... Jones is a perennial
bottler... Hughtons teams do not bend over and take it up the arse!!

With regards to Malky Mackay,cutting his holiday short ,after giving Cardiff his application form.

Time will tell who are new boss will be,but the info i gave is/was correct

I was told that MM has had enough of the cost cutting measures at Watford and although he agreed to selling Graham he was really pissed off with the club letting Saracens use the ground for some eggchasing again next season.

Apparently the rugby had a big effect on the pitch and he had been promised they would be gone and a lot of money would be spent on the pitch. Not going to happen now and it's pissed him off I wonder how he will feel about eggchasers on our pitch and no grow light system in place.

Carl is on hols,Annis is busy with his book,so i said for 1 week only i would give out any info that comes in.

Any info i have had before has gone to both Carl and Annis who have checked things out before posting.

TopCat - I wish him well and I think most supporters who have given an opinion are either relieved or excited by the change - either 'we have a manager at last' or 'we have a young, dynamic manager who can take Cardiff City to the next level'.

You posted that you were told 10 days ago that MM had been interviewed. He was definitely interviewed 1 day ago. Does it matter whether you were told the truth or a pile of cack? What is the one-upmanship all about? Let's just be happy that we have a manager in place, and a sense of excitement and optimism (for most of us) that has been missing for most of the last year.

Jon - I take on board your views,you don't know how much hassle that post caused with fans from watford.

At the time on other local,watford or fans forums did not have the news,which we went with.
