Come on.As far as Riggot goes he's played for an hour.Goes off with crap.If DJ had risked him at Watford
and he got a long term injury all hell would have broke looose.DJ made the right call.

As far as Langston goes.My view is the club is insolvent.VT is propping up the wage and tax bill.
He's hardly likely to shell out £10 million to Sam.

Spoke to Riggott as he got off the bus before Watford game and I asked him if he was playing. He said he didn't think so because he was so stiff after playing against Cov. He said he hadn't played for 11 months before that so he was really feeling it. He was chatty and very open about it. From what he said, he simply wasn't fit enough to play.

Still can't understand why Tan doesn't just loan the club the 7 million to get the monkey off our backs. That way others will have more confident in us with repayments. This way we will have bad press again and teams will want all the money up front for players.

Because I guess instead of owing Langstone money, the club would just end up owing the same money but to a different creditor (VT) ??

Something just doesn't hang together right here.

As many have said, VT's got the money, on the face of it the cheap option is to pay up now and draw a line under the whole Sam/Langstone saga. So why doesn't he? We'll probably never know, but maybe VT doesn't feel the loan is enforceable or is in some way invalid? One thing's for sure, VT isn't stupid, I suppose we'll have to trust that he knows what he's doing.
