I have lots of sympathy for you there, my brother is in the army and he was in Iraq for the first 6 months of the war, he's also served in Afghanistan and Northen Ireland, but if you are in the army and your government decides to have a war over oil, you're going to get shot at by those that see they are being invaded and wish to protect their land.

If you call yourself the 'Welsh Defence League' or 'English Defence League' you are bound to be labelled racist whether you are or not.

However, I am always baffled how organisations such as the self appointed 'Muslim Council for Wales' are allowed to get away without being branded as racist.

The very nature of their title tells you they wish to impose Islam on Wales which is not only racist; it is extremely fascist by showing complete intolerance to all non-Muslims.

In the interest of balance may be the BBC should be investigating these organisations to find out exactly what they stand for?

Okay, okay, I'll bite. Black police officers federation exists because they face discrimination, mainly from white people, for, y'know, being "different".

Same as lots of womens societies and groups, they come together to overcome sexism and discrimination in society.

Gay goups, come together to try and fight homophoiba.

I imagine you're a white, heterosexual male, and I imagine you face little or no discrimiation. Same as me, but I understand that others do and why black police officers may want to join a federation.

By the same score Sludge the WDL said in the Week In Week Out programme that they didn't want racists in their ranks; so how do we know that the MCW are any different?

Personally I think calling themselves by that name (Muslim Council for Wales) is very insensitive and divisive.

If you had bothered to read the whole post and take into context what I said you would understand that by calling themselves 'The Muslim Council for Wales' they give the preception of wishing to impose Islam on the rest of us.

It is the exact same perception which is gained from an organisation calling themselves 'The Welsh Defence League' and being branded as racist.

My point is if the MCW are to continue to call themselves by this name then BBC should investigate them in the name of balanced broadcasting.
