You just knew salech would miss that, why not let someone else take it? Anyone…..we won’t win this today with him up front either….

And of course he had now scored!!!

It’s my reverse psychology working its magic….been doing it for yeats

More really positive defensive work from Cardiff through Will Fish and Joel Bagan interceptions in quick succession. Joel Colwill then mops up.

Cian Ashford has also looked really bright playing out on that left-hand side - Moylan has been the more central one - and he looks to get around Bright Osayi-Samuel.

The Blues man just about manages to force a goal kick.

Joel Bagan with a bone-crunching challenge there on Stansfield. Got the crowd right up.

Well before moylan came along he always had the penalties.... just bit to easy for keeper to telegraph.....

Another big challenge running towards his won goal, this time on the other flank from Perry Ng on Liam Millar. Ng goes one better and earns Cardiff the throw.

H-T 1-0

After a good start, the Jacks finding their true level. 4 - 0 at QPR

Table looking better .

Good half, high quality. Defended very well. That clean sheet is vital

Just saw the penalty again & it was even weaker the second time, Salech went for placement rather than his usual power and the keeper could have got there even if he stopped for a cuppa on the way.

Way too early for that!

Ticked off, just trying to feel good and you bring me down i shan't bother.

Not able to watch the game today, as I’m travelling to the airport, but all sounds good (penalty apart) so far

HALF-TIME SCORE: CARDIFF CITY 1 - 0 BIRMINGHAM CITY (45 mins)
Bluebird scorer: Yousef Salech, 32 mins

NO Changes

The rain just keeps coming

Jhon Solis does well to skip past Colwill and mount a counter through Millar. But Colwill gets back to intercept the return pass.

Cardiff then break rapidly and Salech is played in beyond the defence. He squares the ball brilliantly to Cian Ashford at the back post. He takes a touch and shoots - but it's saved by James Beadle's legs!

All Cardiff

Another big chance!

Alex Robertson with a pinpoint free-kick and Will Fish turns it back into danger. Salech pokes towards goal but it's blocked!

BLUEBIRD FANS LOUD

Just wide by Salech

7 shots to nil so far for Cardiff

Jay Stansfield is found at the back post. Fortuntaly for Cardiff he heads straight at Nathan Trott. Easy save.

Ashford fashions himself some space and manages to get a shot off. It's tame again though and Beadle can gather.

Triple change for Blues with Marvin Ducksch, Max Bird and Patrick Roberts coming on.

Superb defending around the back from Joel Bagan there after Stansfield was played through. Read the danger very well.

Moylan to Ashford, yet again a very soft shot from Ashford.

Should score! Cardiff break so quickly and Moylan is free down the left. He feeds Ashford near the penalty spot and has to score, but side-foots it straight at a defender!

He has to be more clinical there, but a lightning-quick break from Cardiff.
