I think it takes Ollie and Rubin an age to get "match" fit. They are big units

Nice to see Tanner finally get a goal from stepping inside. Cozier-Dubery was getting all the commentators praises for not scoring one, they sounded shocked when Tanner showed him how it’s done.
Excellent counter attack and puts us in a good position for the second half, in a period of the game that looked like we’d concede before halftime

Have to be solid 2nd half and try to get a 3rd.

Yes Tanner is doing well considering some think league one is his ceiling

‘Finally get a goal from stepping inside’?
Did you miss the Watford game?

Lol. I agree he terrifies defenders, love his attitude. Wasn’t his biggest fan originally but he’s really come on last season and this.

Must be easier to remember his misses than his goals, I actually think Tanner is good going forward, he has always played better with Rubin alongside for some reason, but yes, good to see he’s pulled it off in quick succession then if that’s better.
He came close a few times earlier in the season, hit the post and generally kept trying. It becomes an issue when they don’t go in for a long time that they stop trying, Willock got a few last season but doesn’t look like he wants to even attempt it anymore after such a baron spell

We have ridden out luck so far, but I don't think we have the players to go defensive even if everyone is available
This is going to be a nervy second half for me.

Turnbul on for Joel Colwill

Lankshear on. Worried about him.

Two of Cardiff's corners are thwarted.

Massive chance! Will Lankshear is sent in around the back of Osho, but he drags his shot wide! Osho put him under a little pressure to stop him getting it on target.

Willock doesn't do enough in the sort of phase we are in...Get Scanlan on
Sat Oct 17, 2026 12:44 pm
It's all Boro now, really. Cardiff won't be able to withstand this all half.
? ??

Our confidence has grown as this game goes on, and Boro are more than phased by our efforts all over the field
We could have added to our tally so far and this performance live on Sky Sports will get people noticing us
Nathan Trott with another great intervention from the £10m Will ‘
Harry Kane II’ Lankshear, and the game moves on
