I’ve enjoyed this first half other than our lack of a goal or two! We need to keep this up and make it count in the second half

Bolton made a couple of changes in the midfield and because we couldn't play how we want , the errors started creeping in

We desperately need to start getting a goal when we’re on top. First 15 mins we were blowing them away but as usual no goal. Fair play to salech best he’s played this year actually holding the ball up and bringing people into play. We need to be able to change tanner when he’s not at it but of course no signings. All to play for here and we could win this comfortably if we turn up the heat again. Of course very possible we concede a terrible goal and go on to lose by a couple as well. Osho and belik look good

I don't think I've ever seen a team get into so many good positions and somehow find a way to mess them up.

It's so easy to blame our defenders when we concede, but the real problem is just how wasteful we are. Whether it's poor technique, the wrong decision, a lack of belief or confidence, a poor first touch, or simply not making the right contact, we completely mess it up time and time again.

Yet again, in the first 25 minutes we should be at least 2-0 up, and that's being generous to Bolton.

If we take those chances, it's a completely different game to the one we've got now!

They have to make a big push for Rabbi Matondo. It's an absolute no-brainer to bring him in and give our front line some proper competition!

Played well first 25. Nothing in it after that.

Should have scored with all our chances. We are very poor infront of goal and the final ball beforehand, along with our decision making in the final 1/3, is poor.

Should be beating Bolton (even when away).

Can see why most shots in league but today typical of that stat.. don't shoot when get opportunity willock could have passed ball into corner of goal Tanner similar..... couple other times same. We choose to shoot when more difficult to score... they've changed system and its working now bbm needs to counteract this in 2nd half otherwise we will conceed a goal and probably the game

Tanner is as far away from being a professional footballer as frogs are from fecking feathers!! What on earth does BBM see in him!!? He can't beat his man, he continually either kicks his delivery ball into a defenders legs or puts it in row Z. He is a defensive liability as well and consistently gives the ball away, generally leaving us wide open because we are caught attacking in numbers. Robertson is great if he has space but gives the ball away when he is closed down. Salech is half the player he was before his neck injury and we seem to have dragged Moylan down to our level already and don't get me started on willock and Joel is having a stinker and NG looks out of his depth in the Championship!!

Unless we stop giving the ball away in advantageous positions where we should be scoring and unless we start putting away instead of wasting golden chances (such as Robertson where the goalie kicked it straight to him and his first touch was like an elephant) this game will be won by a pinched goal from Bolton thanks to one of our serial defensive blunders. Its getting to the point where you can script these City games!!

I thought he was having a good game to be fair, but he desperately needs an end product
