Apparently it's standard procedure due to child involvement! Will police or FA also include the asault on city player in investigation? Can't have a one sided investigation when fans also guilty ... but still haven't found video of him actually grabbing the throat? Nearest got his him grabbing kid on top of shoulder not the neck! Yesterday is reason why players should stay away from fans when celebrating goal and equally fans shouldn't get involved like they did yesterday can only end in trouble . for one party at least

What an excellent use of police resources.

Why bother catching criminals when you can spend time and public money on investigating nonsense like this?

After watching it multiple times it definitely doesn't look like he grabs the kids throat , to me it looks like the kid threw the ball and bielik puts his arm out and pushes the kid on the shoulder, this is a reactionary movement that most people would use when something is thrown in their direction from a close distance , this in my opinion has been blown way out of proportion from a lot of football fans who for some reason these days have become real wet wipes

I have taken a look and used pompey perspective of this and whilst don't use quote I put up they've indicated he as said
What I quoted and are not happy that he's sided with city in this matter... although after backlash hes tinned down his response and says waiting for official report.

Annis, he grabbed him by the throat / neck mate.

Did he grab kid that threw ball by throat? Thought it was the kid next to him that he grabbed ... and the woman slapped him on head before that... could go from bad to worse for city ? Let's hope common sense prevails but doubt it.

Common sense? Are you nuts? Bielik assaulted a teenager for throwing the ball away, what’s worse than that? He should be thrown out of the club immediately.

Police investigate alleged assault on teenage boy during Cardiff City incident

Police have confirmed they are investigating an alleged common assault on a teenage boy during Cardiff City's clash with Portsmouth

Saw this elsewhere :notworthy:

Headline on BBC News says 'Government condemns thuggish behaviour in Portsmouth'. Harsh on Bielik imo.

The boy slapped Bielik in the face in retaliation.

Hope the police are investigating that assault also.

And the bloke who assaulted Perry Ng by throwing the ball at him.

Bielik is 6' 2'', about 14st and a professional footballer.

Not sure the kid's retaliation is going to get much of a look in, to be honest.

Haven't seen any clips of the ball thrown at Ng. Did it hit him?

Size doesn't matter.

Despite what your girfriend might say.

Retaliation was out of proportion to what Bielik did.

OK - we'll see how it goes, but I can't see the kid getting in too much trouble.
