Because this feels like yet another punch in the gut — and I say that as someone who is naturally a glass-half-full supporter.
I love what BBM has done and how our young players are performing. We've just let them all down by not supporting when it was needed.
How many times are we supposed to shrug our shoulders and accept that we’ve just been “unlucky”?
If it really is just one of those things, why does it seem like every other club around us is capable of strengthening their squad and getting deals done while we stumble from one excuse to another?
Just look at Swansea. The difference in how they’ve gone about their business compared to us is embarrassing. It’s an absolute disgrace how far ahead they appear to be.
And didn’t we take their head of recruitment as well?
I just can’t be optimistic about this situation I’m genuinely furious. I was sure there was no way they could mess things up again.
This club had momentum. We had supporters feeling positive again. We had a talented young manager, exciting academy players and a fantastic opportunity to finally build something.
They didn’t need to reinvent the wheel. They just needed to do their jobs and strengthen the squad.
Yet once again, when the opportunity was staring us in the face, the people running Cardiff City appear to have completely failed.
How many more chances do they deserve?
Managers have changed. Players have changed. Recruitment staff have changed. We’ve heard promises, excuses and talk of lessons being learned time and time again.
Yet somehow we always end up back in exactly the same place.
At some point you have to stop blaming circumstances and start blaming the people responsible.
For me, that point has arrived.
The people running this football club have repeatedly shown they are not fit for purpose, and I genuinely don’t believe Cardiff City can properly move forward until they are gone.

You are so right.
Us fans just want what’s best for our club, not block the Hierarchy and it’s few idiot followers.

But if it doesn't happen then it's not a disaster.
We have a squad with a good team spirit, that's what helped get us promoted. Bringing in the wrong personalities could disrupt that.
We have a good squad and I don't see any danger that we'll get relegated, there are worse teams than us.
Let's hope we make additions today, but it's not the end of the world if we don't.
We have added some players and kept hold of our best talent, when there were loads of conspiracy theories that Lawlor was going.
I like your optimism, but the squad is too small. More injuries will happen with no rotation. You say we haven't sold any top players?? What top players? Lawor maybe, who is injured. Another relegation battle imo. The clowns have learnt nothing, and it reinforces the fact that Tan is treading water for a sale on his terms. TAN OUT
We won't be anywhere near relegation.
People don't know it's Tan or Choo to blame. It could just be that first and second choice signings went elsewhere because they're bigger clubs and more opportunities to play.
Glad we haven't made panic signings, that would have left us with more like Etete.
I agree we won't be anywhere near the bottom 3 with this squad , however it could of been so much better with a little ambition from the board
How can anyone confidently say we won’t be anywhere near the bottom 3? We’ve got 2 new players since promotion from league 1! A league we didn’t even win. Our squad is way too small for this league. 1 or 2 injured and we’ve had it. It’s the strongest championship in years! I know you’re trying to save face Worcester because you’ve been banging on to people that signings are coming but come on. Wake up. This is an absolute shocking state of affairs. Won’t be surprised to see us at the bottom of the league with BBM leaving by January.
People told me to wake up last summer when I said we'd be top six. They doubted us then, they're doubting us now.
Not a chance do we get relegated. We've got a good squad.
Slightly disappointing we couldn't get two more deals done, but we don't know the reason why they didn't happen. Could be one of many reasons.
We'll be fine.
