Madness really when you think about it!

Ryan I no where you are coming from budd we would have not gone for this guy if all 4 centre backs where fit we where desperate to fill the gap so I agree the only newbie is moylan scanlon trott where here last season .

I'll believe what BBM says over what these fake ITK people say, and BBM said he's been a target for a while.

I also believe BBM when he says he was a target for a while. BBM will have known some time ago that Fish and Lawlor would be out for the start of the season and he'll have been looking for cover at number 6 also so Bielik fits the bill well.

I really like Bielek and happy he is here. We need his size and experience.

However, WBA effectively gave him away to us. No transfer fee, he seemed surplus to requirements and we just stepped in and agreed to take on his contract. Surely this would have been the sort of signing we could/should have made right at the start of pre-season rather than in the final week of the window (if he was a long term target and all).

Either way, just 2 new faces then in 4 months is poor. Hope these next 30 odd hours come good!

We know there was a transfer fee. Both clubs said it was an undisclosed fee.

Well according to Annis there was no fee.
The 2mill+ was made up of salary and a signing on fee.

But what’s it matter if we bought him or not. He’s here.

The fact that the clubs both said there was a fee, local journalists in the Midlands said there was a fee and BBM suggesting we paid money for him makes me believe there was a fee.

Jeez, I have no idea and I don’t actually care mate

4 months since the last game and we’re expecting 3 in 24hrs :-). Lucky if we get one tomorrow. We’ll get three excuses though :-)

I don' t suppose bbm was going to say any different ,telling the lad you are a stop gap would not have been very nice but tgat is precisely why he was signed like I said if we gad almost 4 defenders fit he eould not be here.

You don't give a 3 month stopgap a 3 year contract.

One would think not, eh? :ayatollah:

Monty,

I'm sure you'll get the same reply from Sven that I got earlier on this thread.

The thread has been put up for us to discuss the final 48 hours so that's what we are doing between us fans ,and I am certainly not telling anyone not to have a say or don' t say anything wait and see.

,To me after the event would not be worth discussing as we all know the outcome then.

Some reports linking us with a loan move for Oscar Zambrano of Hull. Don't know how reliable though.

He's a number six and they signed him permanently this summer, having previously had a loan there in 2024.

i personally think, its a bit close to the wire.... would ideally like 3 players...striker, winger and a number 6

i think we will get 1 signing over the line, anymore ill be really happy

either way i feel we still have enough to be comfortable and suprise a few teams :bluebird:

Less than 24HRS to Go Now ...

If the rumours are to be believed then Ken Choo has dropped a clanger with the entire transfer window. I can’t see BBM hanging around. Even Swansea have sorted out their recruitment department

Them last minute premier league loans as clubs don't let them go untill the last minute as some believe on here are looking less likely :banghead:

We defo need 3 more minimum but will probably get 1 knowing above bbm if we are lucky and then the "we had a good window" threads will start :bluescarf:

Not ITK, but still think we'll get three. I'll be disappointed if we don't get two.

A few deals that will be done by other clubs:

Everton are bringing back Grealish on loan and also signing Balogun for £40m.

Man City are signing Ndiaye.

Spurs signing Mudryk on loan and Tosin permanently from Chelsea.

Man City also trying for Enzo Fernandez but Chelsea are sticking to their £120m asking price.

Ye I can believe that. It’s a joke. They’re damaging our club so much. Imagine if we had some competent people running the club with BBM in charge. If only.

Don't know why anyone would expect us to be fishing in the same waters as them.

Wrexham have loads of money and Swansea are taking high risks with the financial rules.

I'd rather us we'd signed nobody all summer than take risks with the financial rules.

Also, they're both more established than us.

I agree but because there is zero information coming from the club regarding our ambition and future planning, there is a huge void that will always be filled with fan's speculation, doubt and scepticism.

We know that due mainly to BBM, football-wise the club has made giant strides over the last year and the fear is that he could be tempted to move to a club with loftier ambitions if he doesn't receive the backing he desires.

Any specifics on these rumours or are people just looking for someone to blame or to look like they have inside connections to disgruntled staff?

I'm not sure you can say that Wrexham are more established in the Championship than we are? :?:

How many years have they been in the Championship in the last 20 years compared to us?

Just as an aside, does anybody know the last time we signed more than one player on deadline day?

Genuine question - I have no idea.

As gutting as it is, if no one does come in then for me BBM is just another of Tans yes men, saying what the supporters want to me then coming up with excuses, we again are picking up whats left if anything. Hopefully I am wrong and will happily eat humble pie :bluebird:

I haven't seen a report anywhere saying anything about Choo. BBM is steering the ship. This is I stubbed my toe this morning.... Tan and his bloody clowns

BBM took the job on and presumably agreed the transfer budget with Tan this summer, because that's not to your liking it doesn't make him a yes man
