We keep passing it back to our goalie Turner WHY?
Tue Dec 02, 2025 7:38 pm
Cardiff with so much of the ball but it's all very backwards-first.
Too many playing the safe option, going backwards. Matt Turner, Gabriel Osho and Dylan Lawlor having far too much of the ball.

That's more like it. Joel Colwill slides the ball between the centre-backs for Cian Ashford, who pulls the trigger before Joe Lewis slides in to block. Corner to Cardiff.

Injury stoppage. Osho receiving treatment. He just entered a heavy challenge.

This is going exactly as expected a mish mash of kids and a few first teamers against Wimbledons main 18, was always gonna be difficult but valuable experience for the kids

Sadly only 1 shot on goal from us perrett playing ok but no recognised striker.
Tue Dec 02, 2025 7:47 pm
H-T 0-1
Wimbledon deserve their lead
Cardiff making to many mistakes

After a decent passing start, we’ve gone off the boil!
We need more urgency in attack, and a big fella up front would help!
HALF-TIME SCORE: CARDIFF CITY 0 - 0 FC WIMBLEDON (45+2 mins)

Anyone up front would help at this point.

Not overly disappointed with that half.
Could move the ball a bit quicker but passing has been decent.
Wimbledon have more first team players out there and that's obvious.
Room for improvement of course and hopefully we can get a goal back soon.

Sort it out BBM

We need some acutal strikers playing, Ned, to score. That's the problem. We are more interested in tapping it backwards because we have nobody to do the job up top currently 1st half, as there are no strikers

Omari Kellyman off for Luke Pearce.
Gabriel Osho off for Noah Williams.
Tue Dec 02, 2025 8:04 pm
Pathetic tippy tappy stuff at the back again cost us 2 nil now
Tue Dec 02, 2025 8:04 pm
What a lazy goal! We completely switched off in the opening minute of the second half and paid the price!
Can’t blame (injured) Osho for this one!

Need to move the ball quicker is spot on.
Most players take too many touches of the ball and not passing it quite enough, Joel being the worst culprit.

Men against boys it's not important league much more important
Tue Dec 02, 2025 8:07 pm
Turner was to blame for their 2nd goal
Tue Dec 02, 2025 8:07 pm
0-3
Tue Dec 02, 2025 8:07 pm
Four minutes into the second half and it’s a mountain to climb for the young Bluebirds!
Far too easy, and FC Wimbledon have ‘done a job’ on them to this point. It will be a tough ask to claw too much back from here!

Messing about again at the back cost us a corner then they score again 0-3
Tue Dec 02, 2025 8:09 pm
And they're still passing it around a the back. Someone needs to tell then that they're losing by 3 goals.
Tue Dec 02, 2025 8:09 pm
Men against boys tonight I'd get all the first team players off now no point risking injuries

I don't understand why we keep doing this
Tue Dec 02, 2025 8:10 pm

In the words of Private Hudson, " Game over man"
Tue Dec 02, 2025 8:11 pm
Can we sign Sasu in January, better than any of the Cardiff players on the pitch tonight. Game over!
Tue Dec 02, 2025 8:12 pm
0-4 Embarrassing
Tue Dec 02, 2025 8:12 pm
Hat-trick for FC Wimbledon’s Sassou!
Credit to him, he’s been a handful tonight!
We’ve capitulated far too easily, but this is all part of the learning curve for our youngsters, if not a little disappointing for the likes of Lawlor, Colwill (J), and keeper Turner

How easy did Cardiff give up the ball then, embarrassing now.
