Perkins forces a brilliant save from Trott in the Cardiff goal!

Although 1 nil up the performance is poor. Mistakes by Cardiff all over the pitch giving Northampton chances

Bagan's free-kick causes more panic, Salech and Fish are involved but the ball goes behind.

Should have been a corner.

Northampton the better team since we gone 1-0. We just struggle against high press. This is how every team sets up against us. Going to be a long season.

Why o why have we still not learned that a midfield of Turnbull and Wintle doesn't have the legs. It's no shock we've totally lost the midfield since Turnbull has come on.

1. Straight swap for Robertson
2. Straight swap for Willock at 10
3. Put Kellyman 10 Willock wide.

Any of these seem a much better idea than the one BBM went for :banghead: Very lucky to still be winning.

Only my view can never see him playing in the Premier League, but who knows??

People have there opinions on rubin but the fact is as soon as he went off we lost our creative spark and control of the midfield, he's so crucial to us this season and that last half hour just shows it

Strange decision to bring on turnbul but I guess Barry Murphy sees them a lot more than me. Have to say I am really changing my opinion on Callum chambers… what a first half he’s had. He’s up against a massive centre half and he’s winning a good amount of physical battles. Seems to be his head on every set piece as well. If we up it again in the second half we’ll win this comfortably. If we don’t we could drop points easily.

No. If he was then Chelsea wouldn't have sent him to League One.

Rubin for me is our best player and I agree with you

Lincoln 2 down to Wycombe.

Bradford 0-0 with Bolton.

I think it’s more to do with BBM not putting on an attacking creative player.

We needed Robertson not Turnbull.

It was a totally bemusing decision. Robertson as a straight swap for Rubin would have boosted our midfield with energy and mobility. Instead, Turnbull is on and we are getting overrun. We're very lucky to still be ahead.

Just proves how important he is to us this season

Hopefully he doesn't miss many games after this injury

Well summed up.

I'd have gone with your third option, Kellyman is wasted out wide.

It's going to be a long second half watching this midfield and both CB's on a yellow.

I think BBM fancies himself as some footballing management maverick..........His decisions are bewildering

Not seen anything in Kellyman that says anything but a talented kid without the minerals to be a pro footballer. No heart or guts

The result going our way but we are hanging on a bit.

I do like this Northampton side and we will do well to hang in. Their striker Tom Eves I’ve always admired and I do feel we need to take him out. Do that and we will be ok.

Keeping fingers crossed that Rubin hasn't fractured his foot in any way.
Otherwise, we won't see him until the new year!

How we are winning that at half time, I have no idea! After scoring an early goal, you may think we will be on top, but quite the reverse. Northampton are all over us, and completely dictating the game, by pressuring us all over the park. Our defence is extremely poor particularly on the flanks, with Kpakio having a dreadful game. We shall be lucky to hold on to our lead playing like this, and Turnbull hasn’t helped the situation. How can you replace Rubin with him? Robertson should have come on.
The referee is also dreadful and poor Salech is once again getting no protection. For goodness sake BBM cut out this passing out of defence - it is boring and dangerous! Need to bring on Robertson and NG.

Explain please. What do you mean by opinions of him because all I've ever heard is people (including me) say he was inconsistent in previous seasons, which he was. I don't think anyone has said even that this season.

You may be right but I'd like to see what he can do at 10 rather than stuck on the touchline
