Rubin looks sluggish and misplaced passing. A few others are misplacing passes which is the only reason they are in trouble. Hopefully will sharpen up.

It can be frustrating I know, and easy to be negative. But we have to trust in the team and manager we are top of the league what more can they do??

To many changes every game shows we look disjointed at times

Re: Crossing

Sat Oct 25, 2025 12:20 pm

Few opportunities to put the ball in low between defenders and goalkeeper but we try to cut it back or play an extra pass and the space closes up

Rubin having a mare again. Picks up good positions but has made the wrong decision nearly everytime.

He really is a Jekel and Hyde type player either brilliant or terrible. So far today terrible.

Even game we are playing a decent game. A tad slow but feel as away team it's a decent performance.

Robertson done well but needs to get on ball much more off centre backs

NG yellow means he needs to come off after an hour or so as risk of a red the way game is going on that side

Think Kellyman looks our most dangerous outlet, we are dominating the ball but no end product, I think they look more dangerous when they counter think one goal either way wins this

This game we should win Bolton are nothing special so far although the chances to cross we always have to do extra passes and touches then a shit cross goes in or we turn backwards with 30 yards of ope. Space Infront of our player . Either goalkeeper yet to make a save. Boring stuff so far :bluescarf:

Not found it ‘boring’, but your other points are valid! :ayatollah:

I get you Sven but maybe a goal keeper actually making save helps me and many many others to be entertained as where some prefer kellyman or Davies getting the ball after four passes and only the full back there but we do four passes back to where it comes from our goalkeeper rather than cross the ball in when we have the chance to try score but each to there own. We can win this for sure unless we make a mistake of our own :bluescarf:

60% procession means nothing one shot compared to have that procession for Bolton 6 shots one on target procession means nothing if its just tippy tippy between centre halfs

It can only be nil as we still haven't had a shot on target

Rubin taking too many touches again and again.. he is so frustrating to watch.

Also absolutely criminal Turnbull didn’t at least hit the target with that header

Kind of game where we'll give away a stupid goal ....last 10mins mistake after mistake with poor passing at back..... we are fixed on playing safely getting to penalty area and we slow down same at back more concerned in passing ball back to each other or trott..... so frustrating when you know with more commitment we would be ahead we're far the better side going forward. ... let's make it count

Colwill needs to be way better on the ball. His final ball has been way off. Tunbull again treading water out of possession and has to hit the target with the free header.

Big positives Robertson & Davies have had good halfs and Davies is looking stronger and fitter than previously. Defence looks solid again after a few very shakey weeks.

Two good teams but they only look dangerous from our misplaced passes.

Some of our fans think we can win with two center halfs passing it back and forth then to the full backs then back to our goalkeeper so wouldn't worry  although 2nd half we can win this if we speed it up and move after passing rather than standing still

Re: Crossing

Sat Oct 25, 2025 12:27 pm

Been the same all season gets in good areas to cross it in, then it ends up back with trott after 5 passes backwards again baffles me

Re: Crossing

When they do its so poor its no threat... same when get into great positions the final ball is so poor it ends up no threat ....... we need to show intent not look pretty or good

That's BBMs way of playing to dominate possession. Warnock played more direct football and when he was manager people were moaning about that style as well.

I can't see BBM changing his playing style anytime soon.

Negativity for negativity sake. Pff

The game restarts and the Bluebirds have the ball

Hopefully, some wise words from BBM at half-time, as we just need to sharpen up in a couple of areas to take full advantage of Bolton, who have a shot a tad off target. Actually, it would better have graced the Principality Stadium! :laughing6:

Do we need to pass ball 4 or 5 times between trott and defenders before we go forward? Nearly every time it happens

Everyone knows XG and shots on target are more important than the 3 points

We top of the league Allan. This how we play now and it works and I can only see us getting better.

Allan do you think we should sack Murphy and get someone more direct in??
