It's a long way off before we can recruit Oct Nov Dec and we usually leave it to the end of the window in january.
My good friend, Sadly BBM won’t get properly backed and has to do it with players that cost us virtually nothing
Well if the board f.ck this up this season after shifting 17 players out and 2/3 in, and know offering of any war chest where does that leave us .
Really if they cannot come up with anything in january they would be taking the p.ss as a board and owners.
Our Fan base would also fall through the floor loosing thousands.
We are keeping it together at the moment to get behind the team in the hope we go straight back up but if we fail God help us.

We hardly disagree
But I do on this, we should of been capable of beating Newport anyway
They outplayed us
I don't think we disagree here, we should have beaten them easily and all I'm saying is that the competition isn't worth worrying about. They wanted it & we didn't and that was what made the difference.

Monty,
We just have to prey No serious injuries and No Suspensions and that BBM finally plays a settled side v Reading etc
Our fans will turn if we don’t go straight back up
We are playing mainly tiny clubs

I agree with mainly all that but for me it shows we have not got strength in depth??

After the lackluster transfer window we had I've never believed we had much strength in depth but the senior players were the issue tonight. Maybe they were told to not try, who the hell knows.

But hey, let's wallow in self-pity
And who are you to say bbm would of picked this team? Excuses we played at home bbm picked the tactics I'm sorry but warnock he's not get over it

I've trained 11 year olds (boxing) with more physical strength than Turnbull .
I still think this manager believes he is better than he is . Hope I'm proven wrong

Fleetwood beat Leeds United 4-0 and Wycombe beat Fulham 3-1 tonight which puts tonight in perspective. It really is a competition we could do without and with all the International call ups it was always going to be difficult to put out a cohesive and competitive team. Personally i think there is a massive over reaction from some of our fans. Although i do agree that we played poorly and we definitely need a plan B!

It's a competition not to take seriously. Who does until maybe the latter stages, but even then, you don't prioritise this competition over the league.
For bigger clubs, It's all about trying out your academy/fringe players. Even if it wasn't international week, this wouldn't be our starting lineup against Barnsley.
People are overreacting because it's Newport (who fielded their available best team (bar the keeper)). Just look at their players appearances tonight v ours. Yes, there were senior Cardiff players in that lineup, but they're used to playing with seniors and probably hardly know the players they played with tonight.

Tinkerman seems a one trick pony with his tactics I'll give him that same thing every game two out wide fullback and winger each touchline hugging and about 1 in 35 crosses come in although he went to 4-4-2 at Vs Orient and we come back from 3-2 down due to wide men crossing the f*cking ball in over and over if you see the come back for the two goals. That's said he went straight back to the usual then took off Robinson and brought fish on then to try keep it tied up at the back. We should of lost that game easy to be fair. Last night no excuses covers it up for me.
Back to the league now

I can’t believe some of the comments I’m reading on here !!
We lost with a team devoid of our Wales players at all age groups and probably never played together before, even in training !!
Piling on the criticism to one of the youngest match day squads we’ve ever fielded is exactly why we’re in the mess we’re in. These youngsters need nurturing and encouragement otherwise they get engulfed in fear the next time they play.
This game should never have gone ahead with all the players (including youngsters) we had missing, time to move on and let’s have some realism.
All that said, I’m more worried about the recent drop off in league performances but let’s just hope that’s a blip !!

Sadly I can believe it as it seems a lot of our fans are more happy when we lose.
This result means f**k all for our success this season. What it did show is that some of our experienced players attitudes, characters and anpplication are way off.
Hopefully this means Tan will back BBM in January and we never see some of these players again.

I guess how you view last night depends on your opinion on the competition as a whole. I personally don’t care about it at all and want to use it as an excuse to play some more youngsters. Bbm clearly also has it at the bottom of the pile of importance as he has played strong players in the league cup. The international call ups last night made it even harder and some knackered first team players like wintle played alongside some extremely young kids. I personally think for the first time in years this club is actually going in the right direction, good football and a great group of young Welsh kids being played regularly. They will develop and improve as will we as a team. The next generation behind them is being given a go in lesser competitions and I’m all for it. Will we lose occasionally and play badly, yes. Will that annoy us as city fans, absolutely! But overall we are really going somewhere with this manager and our young players and I am all for it.

It's shameful, we couldn't lay a glove on bottom of the league newport, those of us who live and work amongst them are getting stick today, those of you say it doesn't, matter probably live miles away.

Exactly. Who cares. Well done you beat mostly our youth team.
Chambers
Fish
Wintle
Turnbull
Kellyman
Salec
Are not kids
Kellyman has played 13 senior games of football ffs...
Turnbull was awful. Chambers, Fish and Wintle did as well as you expecting playing alongside a team of teenagers.
