Ball was out of play, ref was correct.

As an ex ref, the ball does not always have to be in play for a penalty kick to be given. Violent conduct for example - a penalty can be given even if the ball is out of play at the time of the offence if in the area will result in a penalty kick

No, thats not what I said. Read it again. Certain offences when the ball is out of play, those offences taking place inside the area, will result in a penalty kick. Clearly the incident was not violent conduct.

I was asking a question, hence the ? You gave one example & I don't know if there are more reasons, you I'm presuming do, and it seemed like you were disputing my reasoning for it not being a penalty.

If you don't think it was a penalty why do you think it wasn't if my reasoning in incorrect?

Ollie Tanner goes down with what looks like an ankle problem, after a great chase to save a Wimbledon corner. It looked relatively innocuous but he has to go off!

Looks like an injury early in the season for what was he thinking save a goal kick for a throw in? Not worth it even if he just misses one game looked longer than that willock on not happy he has never produced hardly anything it's why another position we need strengthening

Very similar first half to the weekend. We need to pull the trigger and keep taking the extra pass instead. First goal wins this. They are well organised side but have little up front.

I'm really enjoying watching us. Credit to the manager and staff getting us playing like this.

The ref has let us down with our penalty and Tanner going off is a massive blow. It'll be a completely different second half now with Willock failing to do his defensive duties. Davies should have gone on instead.

The ref is having an absolute shocker and should be relegated to the non league after this first half.

Wishing a speedy recovery to Ollie.

Some nice play by us. Easily the best team out there. Wimbledon are struggling against us.

We were the better team for large parts of the first half. Just didn’t test the keeper enough. Amazing how comfortable the youngsters are on the ball.
Shame about Tanner (and I agree) he was playing ver well.

Dont agree with your Riza comment. At least we have players putting in a shift. Better by far. Too often Riza picked Robinson with Colwell and it (and they) didnt work!!
